It's not a matter of faith versus reason. It's faith and reason. They actually two different worlds.

The corn. Bishop Robert Barron, if you do not know me, you do not know God. I do not speak of myself as God, but as the oneness of God. Because I derive in the experience of the son of God, as the word of God, in following my own story. It doesn’t make me less than God. Welcome to the dispensation of The Spirit Of Truth.

I don't understand your question either? Maybe it has something to do with how it's being worded? Can you please rephrase it? God bless!

At 1:55, Bishop Barron claims that Mary asked a very reasonable question...while having a conversation with an angel about being impregnated by God! Doesn't any part of that story seem the slightest bit unreasonable? Being so thoroughly indoctrinated into the Catholic faith that one no longer question any of its myths and fanciful stories compromises one's ability to employ reason. Bishop Barron's "harmonization" involves starting with faith and attempting to layer reason on top. That doesn't really work.

Is there a "reasonable" explanation for the vastness and wonder of the Universe? Doubtless you will say there is. Job 38:2 could help if you quietly ponder.

I could agree with you, were it not for the resurrection. The evidence for the resurrection is so strong that it makes good sense to believe it happened. Since it did, that means Jesus is God incarnate. if the resurrection can happen then surely Mary can have a conversation with an Angel. Look first to the resurrection. Once you see how that happened, everything else falls into place. If you don't agree that the resurrection happened, none of this will make sense.
