God gets blamed for a lot of things which humans have caused not Him. The fires for example have a cause, possibly a mix of causes like our planet heating up because of carbon emissions - for which we are all in part responsible for - , or lack of preparation by California authorities. The fire, loss of life and property, could possibly have been prevented by human action. But God often gets the blame. I know that’s a limited argument as human culpability doesn’t account for many forms of suffering like diseases such as leukaemia or other non preventable disease, or for natural disasters such as volcanoes and earthquakes (although even there humans could choose not to live in danger zones. They often are forced to due to inept government). And lastly, as this video says, seeing suffering in light of eternity. All creation groans the Bible says, waiting to be redeemed. We too groan. One day there will be a new heaven and a new earth which will be glorious. You might see that as pie in the sky but be open to the fact it could be true. That’s what the Word of God tells us and we can put our faith in that, or not, as we choose. Above all God longs for us to be in a relationship with Himself. He is drawing our hearts to Him and that happens through circumstances we go through. Then we know the ‘Captain of the ship’ even when going through storms.

The way I see it, is that the material world, the telluric world will always have chaos. Darkness and light are always fighting, the contrast I mean. The natural world is difficult. It has fires, murder, hunting, poverty, etc. But the grace of God is in the reaction to this. You have free will, and you can choose to react to it by adding more darkness to it, or you can react to it with grace, and accept it as a consequence of the natural world. There is no day if there is no night.

When something bad happen, man find a way to displace, project and blame someone else"God"or nature(climate change). the truth is God has nothing to do with it, neither does humans undoing or nature.....It is just the way it is.

I was born and raised Catholic. When I admitted I'd read the bible, it was like I'd admitted to murder. I was told to stick with the Catechism. Interestingly, years later, protestant leanings also warned me to NOT read the bible because it was dangerous. The wilderness is where Jesus found me decades later, and He saved me. I am a born-again child of the Most High God, and I read my bible every day, sometimes several times a day, and let my Father's words wash over me. The Holy Spirit leads me into all truth, and guides me daily. He corrects me when I try to adopt the teachings of the men of this world. I am to follow the will of God and that will is to believe on His son. I am to follow the commandment of Jesus which is love one another as much as He loved the us. The catholic church says "follow the church". Jesus says: "follow me". I am no longer yoked to any church because Jesus broke that yoke off me, and now, I willingly yoke myself to Him and only Him. Period. Every person that walks around in flesh I am to love as if they are Jesus Himself, because they are the very people that Jesus sacrificed and died for. He wants them saved. The only kind of sermons or teachings I listen to are those that teach directly from scripture, either by verse, or by chapter, or by story. I don't follow any pastor/priest/teacher that cannot display the love of Jesus while he's teaching, and demonstrates this by engaging in finger-pointing or christian bashing. I don't buy self-promoted books. And I don't do self-help believism. I just follow the ONE way to the Father that provides for me, Jesus. He teaches me, cares for me, heals me, and absolutely one hundred percent loves me. My Father is a Good Father, and My Shepherd is a Good Shepherd, and my Advocate and Helper is a Good Advocate and Helper. God saved me because He loves me. He has provided me with His Spirit because He loves me. He had a great plan and path for my life even before I was born. Jesus is the way, the truth, the life. He says: Follow me. And I do.
