The average Catholic laity nowadays is wasting their time in speculating about all sorts of things about the *Pope, Bishops and Priests.* I hope Jared's interview with Dr. Arthur and its message get home to their brains and heart *so they can find help in integrating themselves in more usefull works.* (Just hoping a clip of the interview will get circulated widely in the Social Media among Catholics.) The 'treasures' or economics is what you hold in your heart. Hebrew the word heart is two letters. One is Beyt meaning tent or tabernacle, the other Lamed, meaning to have authority, to move forward in action, the voice of authority. So the definition of the heart becomes, "the heart is the controlling voice that is inside man." In the Bible the heart is mentioned a lot and it is the part of our being. It is the door that lets things in or out. It is attached to a list of aspects of our make-up. (mind, will, emotions, conscience, thinking, understanding, it decides right from wrong, hope, trust, faith, stubbornness, pride or humility affect it, grumbling about God or our life's troubles causes harm to it, gratitude to God causes blessings.) Being repentant, contrite, and broken-hearted with our sins and asking forgiveness. God accepts and strengthens us to change. To care for others. The Holy Spirit pours His Love in our hearts to change us. That will show in our actions towards others. Because how we treat others is the fruit of our heart's condition. When people gossip, slander, compare, envy, greed, avarice, detract, hate, mock, or many other negative things towards others, those sins deplete our treasures (or economics) of our heart.

..my director at the FSC put this very succinctly once...you can throw "money" at the problem (couples or singles. .otherwise doesn't matter)..but often. .this is not the real problem. ..it's hard work..but doable. .if there's commitment ..
