When I first came to faith in Christ I was into conspiracy theories, was easy prey for the Adventist propaganda, and entered the SDA church. When I discovered Ellen White I had serious doubts about their teachings and became an independent fundamentalist Baptist for a while before I discovered the Apostolic fathers while searching for scriptural commentaries that could help me understand what true faith in Christ meant. When I learned these men believed in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist I had to find a church that believed what these men did. Still being anti "papist" I became an Orthodox Christian, and stayed for over a decade, still hating the Catholic Church. It wasn't until I became totally disillusioned with my conspiratorial mindset and false secular beliefs that I began to question by anti Catholic views as well. Studying the filioque and papacy question led me to conclude that the Catholic Church was the true Church of Christ because only it is in agreement with the authoritative pronouncements of the council fathers and with the early doctors of the Church. I was received into the Catholic Church a few months ago. Thanks be to God!

It makes sense? To who? Because Jesus specifically taught against them! We can't use human reasoning and common sense for the spiritual things of GOD and seriously, Catholicism mimics Christianity. It doesn't even adhere to what the apostles taught. I mean How can a Virgin Mary be the mother of GOD when GOD MADE HER?? THEY can't comprehend that the spirits are different operations and GOD DOESN'T HAVE A MOTHER and HE Jesus IS NO LONGER A FAT CAUCASIAN BABY. THE Catholic Church hated Jews and the Jews were considered PEASANTS.... they were lowercla as and the Catholic Church history alone should make you, especially a brown person RUN!!! Why keep chanting Hail Mary and blessed is her womb when SHE NO LONGER HAS A FUNCTIONING WOMB to bear fruit. It was only used as a salutation yet they have made it MEAN SOMETHING ELSE and using it as a constant CHANT to SPIRITS!! GOD NEVER SENT A POPE and why are they asking deceased people or devoting themselves to dead so called saints WHO ARE DEAD 1000000000 OF YEARS AGO? THIS IS NOT CHRISTIANITY and Jesus NEVER WOULD HAVE let anybody PRAY or ASK HIS MOTHER TO LEAD THEM TO HIM!!!! NOT ONCE IN THE SCRIPTURES do Mary lead anyone SPIRITUALLY TO SALVATION IN THE WORD OF CHRIST DOCUMENTED. SHE IS NOT THE NEW ARK OR NEW COVENANT IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS CHRIST and the Gospel of salvation for us and WE DO NOT GO TO men to get forgiveness of our sins. Sit back and sin our whole life and then run to a priest to get sins forgiven and OH God is going to grant you heaven!!! WALK ON IN🙄

Bryan, it's Monique the elderly French lady from Australia. I am watching your video: SDA converts to Catholicism from 8 days ago. I can't remember if I told you that during my 39 years of Protestantism, my first church was Jehovah's witnesses for 8 years. God led me out of this cult and then I wondered from church to church struggling with the Trinity for 32 years coming from a JWs background. Then during these years, I went to SDAs for 6 years. God led me out of this cult too helped by a professor of religions on KZbin: Defeating adventism. It was last year in June. It's at that time that I accepted the Trinity. My last church was an independent Baptist church. God led me out of Protestantism with some You Tube channels and yours and I took the decision to come back to the Catholic church after 59 years. So, I can fully understand what this lady went through and because of JWs and SDAs in my case, I hated the Catholic church. I can see the hand of God in my life. He is healing my mind from all the lies I was told in Protestantism. It's a miracle. Praise God. I will see a Catholic priest this Friday to seek help and repentance. I had two really big freakouts during my conversion. Once when I realized the truth of the Catholic Church. I honestly thought the evil one was tempting me and deceiving me. I was so freaked out I became physically ill beside the bed. The other time was when I threw the prescription for birth control away. I'd never taken birth control but I had two kids who were eleven months apart and the thought of having a kid every year terrified me. When I threw that prescription away I sobbed over the trash can. It was rough. I also prayed a prayer I now regret. I never had more kids afterwards. I cried every month for 17 years wanting another child. I learned the hard way to be careful what you pray for. I know though God did what was best.

One thing I learned throughout life, if something is being attacked all the time, there must be a certain reason for it other than the reason stated by people doing the attacking.NOTHING in life is one dimensional. The Jews throughout history were attacked left and right and the bible lists some reason why that is so. The Catholic Church is attacked the most out of every other church, even by other Christians sadly, and this tells you something. So if you ignore the reasons list be others and find the truth through different methods like talking to god about it, asking different questions, researching the bias, stepping outside the bubble you might have created, etc etc, you might just find the answers you seek. This logic applies to other facets of life as well which I draw from living life but its not fools proof and might require starting over sometimes.Praise god and Peace be with you all.

What seems sad to me most of all is the extreme bondage of fear, legalism, and intolerance that is prevalent in the SDA schism. It is very similar to the Jehovah’s Witnesses in that regard. The emphasis on eschatology is also another example. I am reminded of first century Jews who wanted to continue keeping the rite of circumcision as an ordinance of admittance into Christ’s Church: Acts 15: 1. 😊😊😊. P.S. The proper way for Catholics to learn our faith is called “catechism.” Catechism is intended to be a life-long process that never ends. We must NEVER stop learning about the Scriptures, the Deposit of Faith, and Sacred Tradition. We must also branch out our learning into related areas: the Church Fathers, the Creeds, the ecumenical councils, Sacred Theology, philosophy, science, apologetics, and more… 👍

Hi, Bryan! Can you please include my friend Phillip, his wife and daughter in your prayers because they joined a cult although it happened 8 to 10 years ago. I have said prayers for them. Phillip is my former singing partner. He used to go to my house often ... but only when we have singing engagement in order to practice the songs that we're going to sing. He was a successful businessman. I met his wife and daughter. After some time, he stopped going to our house. I thought we just don't have singing engagement. We had each other's number but we hardly talked about our personal lives. When his absence became prolonged, I decided to ask our common friend (my cousin) about him. I told my cousin, "How's Phillip?" And she narrated this to me in shock, "Phillip left the Catholic Church and joined a cult together with his wife and daughter! They left their house and decided to live in their cult in seclusion. They cannot go outside anymore unless their leader gives them permission." My cousin also told me that Phillip sold his car and gave the money to their cult leader. He also attempted to sell their house and lot but his siblings were able to convince him not to. I don't know what happened to his business. My cousin told me that Phillip and his fellow cult members are planting vegetables inside their cult. I thought the faith of Phillip was strong because he was a devout catholic. He served at his church by being a choir member. Sometimes, we talked about our catholic faith and I remembered him criticize protestants. He complained to me, "Why do these prots accuse us catholics of worshiping statues when we do not? We just honor the saints the represent the statues and nothing more." So I really thought his faith was strong but I was wrong." If this incident would happen now, I would send your videos to him to prevent him from joining a cult. I really don't know his whereabouts and don't know if he is still alive. I hope and pray he and his family are ok.

I just don't find that in an N.O. Mass. They allow women to hand out the Eucharist and the people take it in the hand. I also do not like that everyone stops right after the host is consecrated to say hi to everyone. There are other things too that you will not find in the Latin Mass but I do agree that the N.O. Mass is legitimate and if it's the only service you have in your area you must go. God is still there and it's still His house and I still show the same level of respect because of that. I am glad to hear that you go to confession every week it really does help when you are trying to root out sin in your life. It has changed me as a person. Also glad to hear that your N.O. I'm sure she didn't do it on purpose though, bc we make mistakes when we explain things sometimes. She is a very sweet lady, so I'm sure she didn't do it on purpose. But if it was Sam Shumoun, then he didn't teach the Sabbath like that at all. To say that Christians were allowed to pick one day out the week, & that's your Holy day. No' Sam never taught that 100%. So this is why we must hear something multiple times, to make sure we represent the position correctly. Especially when we're saying well this person taught it like this to me. Bc then we can misrepresent that person, & we can cause someone else to become weak in their faith, to make them fall away from the truth. Then that blood is on our hands. There is one thing you may not know in the early church it was given in the hand only so that is not something that is new
@pmlm15716 ай бұрын
Yes it was given in the hand initially, but over time the Church matured--experience with accident, abuse and centuries of reflection upon the Miracle led her to develop kneeling to receive on the tongue. To jettison this development for no good reason is what is perverse. Of course it is more humble, more reverent, more in tune with the Miracle, to receive as the whole world did it until the liturgical abuses following V II.

That is true, The Eucharist was received in the hand in times past! Both are licit forms of reception of Christ; I myself prefer on the tongue.

@catholictruthreplies I have no problem With people taking Communion on the tongue. in my parish It is done both ways. Some take it on the tongue, most Do not I prefer the way it was done in the early church. Just my prerogative, I guess. But then I also sit in the front roll and I kneel The priest or Deacon brings the Eucharist to Me Because they know that's what I prefer To take communion while I kneel. I think i'm the only roman catholic in my town of all 3 churches that kneel for communion. Just as I don't prefer the Latin Liturgy But the Novus Ordo But I'm not gonna condemn somebody else. Because they don't agree with me like many Who are Schismatic. But as my pastor would tell anybody I am very orthodox.

How is the old Sabbath, Saturday, done away with? It's in the ten commandments. Why would God change something when the bible says God does not change? Also, the bible says that not any part of the law will pass away, even heaven and earth will pass away before the law. If we are to follow the ten commandments, why is the one that says REMEMBER the Sabbath and keep it Holy not applicable anymore? The Catholic Church admitted it changed the ten commandments a bit and instituted Sunday. The bible says the beast power will think to change God's law and time. What does that mean? Thanks for the video as usual.

The Commandment doesn't mention Saturday, or Sunday, or any day at all... The Church has a commandment that speaks about Sunday, but from the "Bible alone" you can choose your Sabbath as any day. The Jews chose their Sabbath as Saturday, and named the day Sabbath to remember they should rest every Saturday, but God didn't command the Saturday. Here's the commandment: "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God." Some people say that whenever Sabbath is mentioned, it refers to Saturday, but the truth is that the line "but the seventh day is a Saturday to the Lord, your God" makes absolutely no sense. The truth is that the word Sabbath means "rest (day)". God is commanding us to give Him one day out of every seven. From the Bible alone, it can be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it does not explicitly refers to Saturday as the rest day. The Jews named Saturday Sabbath, but they didn't have an obligation from God to take that day as their rest day.

Hello! Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately, the baptism of John was a baptism of repentance, not of "water and (The Holy) Spirit" as Jesus mentioned in John 3. Those who received the baptism of John were rebaptized in acts. Acts 19:3-5 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. John's was merely a baptism of repentance. A symbol. The New Testament Christian baptism is how Christians are born again in Christ. This is for adults or children. The Holy Spirit remakes us, gives us new life, and makes us children of God. Babies don't have any personal sin and therefore don't need to repent.
