Kathy, I just finished watching you live…..after it was filmed. You my card making friend are such a hoot! If card making gets old and you need to find another career, please consider stand up comedy!!! When you mentioned that you thought your name growing up was Jesus Christ Kathy, I got hysterical! I watched the replay and was amazed...at myself. 😂 This is what I did with a card the other day after watching the video with the foam tape. I don't have your patience! 😆 I didn't, however, think to double the cardstock BEFORE die cutting. I glued the layers then used the template. So... thank you for the double up idea!

Many years ago I did volunteer first aid and we'd go to football games or concerts. I did first aid for a Crowded House concert in Melbourne, Australia :) I got my first order from SSS yesterday. Took 4 weeks which is pretty good, so I'm planning on more orders. Love this card, Cathy. Simple, clean, bright. Really enjoyed this one, just sorry I wasn't able to be here for the live.

Well the extended story is that my friend who is a music publicist and a friend of Neil's got him to sign one for me. I didn't meet him in person I just watched him on stage and felt like I was having an out of body experience

Happy St Patrick’s Day. 😊. If your laptop is sounding like it’s going to take off, it might be the cooling fan in it. It might just need a very gentle vacuuming with the brush portion of your vacuum. Sorry I missed your actual live, it’s now 3:10 pm on West coast Canada. When you came on live I was being treated out for lunch. Yummy! We had veal cutlet dinner. I have found that if you completely run your plates thru the die cut machine without the back and forth motion the plates take WAY longer to warp.

Cathy, I love your stuff! You do the best things. But, I have two comments/queries: Don’t your top-folding cards tend to do “the splits”? I don’t make them because mine do, and I am using Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock for my bases. Also, I really dislike sequins - why are they used so often? Cost?

Mine do not. And I use the same paper, but… i also don't display them that way. I have a cool shelf that I keep mine on. It's totally okay to NOT like the bling. I didn't as a scrapbooker at ALL! But on these small canvases, I do!

My comment about sequins sounded snarky - sorry. What I should have said is that I don’t care for sequins and wonder why other bling is used so infrequently, bling such as flat drops (forget the exact name), or pearls, etc. I watch both you and Gina K religiously, love your results (and hearing your process as you create), but have realized that you both use sequins almost exclusively.
