"Those who can't...teach", doesn't apply to you! How wonderful to find a successful artist with the gift if teaching as well. Your students are doubly blessed!

Hi Patricia, The papers that Cathy is using are created by sprinkling Citra Solv cleaner between the pages of National Geographic Magazines. The cleaner will alter the papers into wonderful collaging material. This video is one of five parts describing this exciting process. Watch Part 1-2 to learn more about how to create the Citra Solv papers. Thank you for your question! and Enjoy!

Thanks Cathy you are a great teacher. What a great series I'm thrilled to find a way to use our collection of Geographics..don't tell my husband..:) No! I won't use his collection I'll get some at the thrift store. Can't wait to get started. Also I have some old art projects from years ago that I can use the stencil ideas to recycle the art. Thanks a million.

Hi Cathy...genuinely awesome presentation and work. I worked with Citra Solv several years ago and thanks to you I’m going to try it again. My question is. Your pages are so flat. Do you iron them? Or, something? Mine dried buckled etc.

What gorgeous work! I cant even draw my name *envious* but I think I can actually follow these instructions! I seen that you use the Daler-Rowney FW Acrylic and noticed cheapjoe also carries Dr. Martin's Bombay India Ink. Have you tried using bombay ink on citrasolv?similar results? most of the art techniques I want to try uses Bombay so I am at a loss on which brand to order. I really need (transparent) fluid that can be watered/sprayed using stencils...any help is greatly appreciated.

Ooh, Cathy, you were using the word splatter correctly, and then, just like everyone else, you used it wrong. Splatter is direct contact (apply your brush or stamp or whatever, directly to the surface of your piece, BUT spatter is what occurs in the air between the object being tapped and the droplets *falling* onto the surface of the piece). Still love your vids, of course...learning a lot!
