I am of the philosophy that if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. And when you are on this side of the video screen, we have choices: 1) watch the video or 2) click stop if it's not to our taste because I truly feel there's enough negativity out there and I personally do not think that it serves a purpose. Keep those videos coming... I for one am loving them. 😊

It is weird because I've never given a thumbs down to anything on KZbin. I've also never left a negative comment. I think it takes a lot of energy to put negativity into the world. Or maybe it takes more energy to put positivity into the world? Now I don't know which ones easier because it seems like people like to share their negative perspective so freely. It's OK. I'm having a lot of fun and there are so many people like you that make up the majority of commenters and for that I am grateful.

@@czdesign I am like you. I much prefer to put a positive spin on things. However, that being said, I confess that I have stopped so,e KZbin videos if I don't find them interesting. But I have never given a thumbs down or negative comment. Ultimately the KZbinr must have liked what they produced so who am I to be negative. 😉

@@brendaelainewaddell1682 Yes, I am totally guilty of clicking away quickly if I'm not interested, or worse, if the audio is crackly, lol, but they are in the arena, right? Doing their thing and as long as they're not being offensive, I say, good on them!

How sad that some of us feel the need to be unkind. I love your comment about being thin skinned to let in the light and creativity - stellar thought process!!! You give me hope because while watching all the clever stuff you do, I had a thought or 2 about how I'd do things a bit different, then I wondered if that makes me critical, then you said your comments about thin skin and light and creativity, and then I get the light and understand that I just learned from you how to let my own thoughts and creativity flow. Gosh, what a lesson in understanding -- thanks so much for sharing yourself, knowledge, and creativity with those of us still struggling to get it. You are awesome!!!

I knew a guy in the early 80's who was smitten with the Muppets movie. He had a little stuffed cloud with rainbow fringe hanging from the ceiling, but he also had a sort of gray satin stuffed rain cloud with "rain fringe" coming out of it, shades of blue purple grey white maybe black. It was cute. Not sure if I've seen the muppet movie or if it had anything to do with that movie.

I think your project is cute also like the pale gray background. Love this series of videos 'New stamps...". I think it gives newbies or oldbies to papercrafting/cardmaking and maybe other people who happen to stumble on your video some idea of what it takes to make a card/project. My friends and relatives (all non-crafters) love my cards, but don't understand all the little thoughts that go through the creator's mind and the physical steps that the creator has to go through to make a nice-looking card. Love your humor, observations and thought processes. Keep it up!

Your card is simple but I think it's cute too! To answer your question Cathy; I've been crafting for over 10 years and I can look at someone's project and usually see how they did it - once in a while there's a new technique or something to learn but mostly, i'm not afraid when it comes to papercraft - it's only paper, if it doesn't work, it has another side or can go in the bin and start again :o) When it comes to keyboard warriors having a go - they aren't worth anyones time or energy - let it go, let it go... thanks for sharing, i hadn't seen either set before but like you i have many 'must have' purchases that haven't been used, I'm trying to remedy that nowadays though :o)

First off I loved your entire video. My take away a new card maker was your embossing. I always stamp sprinkle and heat within 30 seconds and my embossing never comes out right. You took your time and it came out perfect. Come on 30,000 hugs Joanne 🤗

Love the grey cardstock choice! Also, thanks for the trick of using the base of the scoring tool to help line up the card panel! I'm the queen of placing them down wonky and definitely will use this tip.

I totally agree, when I first tried stamping about 12 years ago, with a block, disaster, so didnt stamp. Then last year learned about the Misti and that was such a relief. Now love stamping.

Girl, that is the only reason I became a stamper. Once I started using that tool it changed my life. That is not hyperbole!

At first, I was not thrilled with the gray background, but I thought about it and decided that I do like it. After all, clouds and rainbows emerge from stormy skies, so it all makes sense!! Good choice!! I enjoy your videos and your off-beat sense of humor. During these challenging days we all need to laugh, don't we!! What cracked me up today was a FaceBook video of the Cockatiel singing, "If You're Happy and You Know It"! I don't know why, but it made me laugh out loud!!

Adorable card. I love watching your process... makes me feel like I'm normal and I think you're hilarious. I tend to bite off more than I can chew. When people have mean things to say... it's not about you... it's about them. You're lovely!

I liked this video because you shared the how-to process and the design options you were thinking about. Sometimes getting from the idea to the actual finished card, results in a totally different card from the original idea! And that is just part of the process! Thanks for sharing with us! A tip I learned from Jennifer McGuire is that a white gel pin might fix a "not as perfect as you wanted" white embossed sentiment! My thought is that we need more kindness and less negativity in this world today!

Yes that is a great tip and others are sharing it to. I never knew you could do that and so today I found a video for release later in the month and guess what I did? I did that tip and it worked like a charm.

I love this card. Thanks for the tip on using the score buddy to line up your layers. I always struggle with that so anxious to try that. Thanks for an amazing video. Always love your sense of humor!

Cathy, I think the grey colour was the right choice for the background. ... and I love that you create on the fly and we get to have a front row seat to the performance. Loved the card and the video. Awesome job. 😊
