Hi CADMan, I have a question. When I did the right half part, I have to constrained all the lines by myself and when I used the mirror option the other side of the part was white and when you did it was green. Why? Thank you so much

Hey I can't seem to follow the step you mentioned when trying to make the line and circle tangent, you mentioned to hold the control button while you select both circle and line but it does not seem to work.

shift = multiple selection - it then infers you want a relationship between the two objects you selected

Why an axis system vs the default?

axis systems are generally easier to work with, both visually and in an engineering sense. The default planes don't allow you to see which axis your working in, they only have planes rather than both planes and axes, and you cannot create a bespoke axis system very easily either.

+TheCADMan thanks I'll try starting at axis system - in Catia 1 we are doing the simplest things headed toward the complex and I prefer to learn big picture - start with good habits and repeat good habits.
