I love how Katy let her shine in their performance, even when they're harmonizing you can tell Katy is singing on a lower key and she's very subtle.

Katy did a good job in letting her pick and perform originals early. I saw her audition and I knew she passed but I never saw if she lasted. I'm glad they kept her personality. They usually conform also her outfits. Other girls wear glitz or leather. She didn't need gimmicks that a lot of judges need to use to get votes or pass in the polls. Honestly one of the only perfectly talented individuals who got by on only talent and no pandering sad stories or other audience shit besides her attitude.

Katy was a surprisingly good coach for her. I remember the X Factor seasons where Demi Lovato was a coach, and even though she’s a good singer, she was a terrible coach, making terrible song choices and ruining some contestants confidence. Katy built her people up and let them have creative agency

I don't watch the show regularly (no cable) but I notice the show now longer tries so hard to change the appearance of performers, they glam them up a little but not as extreme as they used to. I love they let the performers let their true personalities and talent shine rather than focus so much on what they wear or what they look like. She is gorgeous, inside and out and so talented! Love her energy! The next Kelly Clarkson. I just started watching her show on KZbin and she had the idol judges back. Simon mentioned how true Kelly has stayed to her roots and I think this woman has the same potential. She OWNS it. Unique, quirky, beautiful, amazing. Wishing her the best!

My first impression of Catie, i thought that she was gonna be wierd and one of those horrible auditions. I was completley wrong, she uinque, a very talented songwriter, and has such an amzazing beautiful voice. I like her becuase her songwriting is spectacular, and i relate to it.
