Hi there!
Today I will show you another "black sheep" in my fairy world - the badass cousin of the Bee Fairy - the Wasp Fairy!
She was made to prove to myself and everyone else, that similar concepts (like the black and yellow, striped fairy) can be turn into completely different art piece.
I am pretty satisfied with how she turned out and I hope that you will like her too :)
Enjoy the video and see you soon!

I'm just so impressed with the design! The wasp elements like the eyes, segmented mouth, antennae, abdomen and wings flow so smoothly with the more antrhomorphic aspects of the doll and it's just!! Ahhh!! I love everything about her!! Also articulated dolls are great if you want a mobile character who you can take lots of pictures of in different places and in different situations; but figurines are just so much more atmospheric and they capture the imagination so much more!! They're a piece of solid 3d art like a sculpture, with a whole story of their own! (I've absolutely fallen head first into your channel and I'm loving it. Your work is just so creative and interesting! Keep it up :D!!)

I love how your beautiful creations have a "captured moment in time" feel, they're so dynamic, like a picture but waayyy more awesome! 💙🖤💛 other bugs would be cool too! Black widow, scorpion, scarab, the possibilities are endless! could even work for a creepy Halloween theme

you did a good job on that stinger, just seeing that pattern made me wanna swat her. also fun tip, spraying water on wasps is the easiest way to dissuade or disable them cause they're very resistant to physical violence

It’s funny you mentioned that some people questioned your choice of making figurines instead of articulated dolls. I thought I wouldn’t like your videos for that very reason, so I put off watching the bee one until tonight. I was just too charmed not to give it a chance. And I’m glad I did! You’re doing really solid creative work, which is exactly what like. Thank you for sharing it with us! 💕

The pose is killer!!! If you wanted to do another "dichotomy" kind of things with bug-themed fairies, consider something like a mantis, where the orchid mantis is very sweet and flowery looking, and ones like the devil's flower mantis

For Halloween you should do a headless horse men type doll. The doll could be holding a jack o lantern or its own head. Either way it would be scary.

Nailed it with the cardboard. Wasps make a comb too except they use it exclusively for brooding. She's a paper wasp ;)

For the eyes, you could’ve painted a layer of resin, used the powder on that, and then put another layer of resin, or even mixed a bit of the powder into the resin before painting it on!
