I don’t know what exactly it means because almighty Google won’t give me a straight answer but from what little I can comprehend it’s from a book about a doctor and gets locked up in a basement for something he may or may not but most likely definitely did and eventually stops being alive. How exactly all of this pertains to Shipwrecked 64 and who the blue thing is I have no idea (I think that’s one of the rabbits(edit: no). Not many characters have blue muzzles and sharp teeth) Edit: it’s been seven minutes and I just figured out what the thing speaking isn’t. I don’t know what it IS but I know it isn’t the bunny.

so my interpritation. Connor, is the bucky we play as (protag bucky), and we as the player, represent the CEO, mark. This isn't actually the case, but essentially the 1997 game is one, somehow a depiction of the events from the ARG's previous events, but their actually not the mainfocus. rather, the game itself is connor's suicide letter in some degree, once we reach layer 3, and we push connor harder and harder, protag bucky turns against us. For protag bucky, he is mad because he wants to save his friends, but for the player, we want to find the truth, this isn't nessicarly a negative against the player, but rather this is meant to parrelel the actual relationship between connor and mark. Mark's daughter, harley, got into an accident, and was hospitalized, so he not only had to manage his business, but make sure she is okay, Connor on the other hand has to work on a video game for a major operation, who expects him to make the game not only really good, but connor's team, is going through some development hell, causing the business to pay a lot of money for the game. The story with the bucky killing people is a completely separate story, which, I won't go into due to my own lack of knowledge on that side, but its more of a symbolic thing, while those events did take place in reality, their more representative of the hardships that the company is going through, as the deeper in you go, the more apparent they become. The secret end is basically the game's depiction of connor's suicide, he is drained, and protag bucky just asks the player to go ahead, attributing connor's death to mark, when as again, it was just a rough situation. Thats my take on the story tho, so if there is evidence to the contrary, let me know, but that's what I got out of it
