From what I've understood from wiki, Quaxo is how Misto is first introduced (identifiable by his outfit, slightly different from the one with the jacket that we see in his number) Mistoffelees is kind of his stage name maybe??? Overall, same cat lmao (that is if you don't take some productions where quaxo is a totally different cat)

@@crazeymc5577 Same actor/dancer; up for interpretation as to whether it's the same cat. Personally, I think they're two different cats, played by the same person. That said, in this video, several of the "Mr. Mistoffelees" photos are actually Quaxo, so clearly the creator of this video thinks that they're both the same cat.

So in the 1998 movie they're definitely the same character, probably with a stage name & regular name. Mr. Mistoffelees also gets annoyed when Munkustrap starts singing about Jennyanydots instead of him, so they're meant to be the same in the movie. Other productions have them separate though.
