Who voted thumbs down? You would take this version live over anything being played today by anyone. We were all very fortunate to live in the same timeline as Capt. Trips. Always Thumbs up. On Jerry's worst day his band was better than anything going right now. On his worst day. It's too bad Demons got to him. He cared too much for others and that energy prevented him from caring for himself . It's seems like a common trait among addicts. I am the same way. I care too much for others almost to a fault until I realized it's not a fault it's my personality. Everyone has an addictive personality it just depends if they can manage it or not. Some of us can not.

Backing vocals so much better when Maria was with JGB in the 70's. Her "middle harmony" helped Donna tremendously. Nice clean version with a great stereo mix here. Considering purchasing the download because of that.

I was at this show. The whole show was fantastic, especially the second set. The Sebastopol Veteran's Hall where it took place is a very small venue. It was full of folding chairs. The audience was having a hard time dancing, being constrained by the chairs. I think it was after one song, some guy yelled "You know what folding chairs are for" and started maniacally folding up chairs and immediately everyone around started folding up chairs and putting them in a pile off to the side. a large dance area was cleared and the whole tripping place went up for grabs!
