Oh that's a trivia I didn't know about the number. I always thought this version was written for the Broadway production. It has always fascinated me how this number kept evolving through the years.

@@MarkvanBeelen yeah it is interesting. they wrote this version of the song for the Broadway company first, but it was staged differently with mungo and rumple being puppets brought to life by Mistoffelees, who sang the song at the time. Vienna was the first time this version of the song and this choreography were used together.

@@CaseyBlizzard As a former Mungojerrie myself I know this, of course. Hihi! I just didn't know Vienna was the first to have this version of the song with Mungo & Rumple singing it themselves. Like I said: Great Trivia!
