Our new kitten is like that, you have to watch her closely and make sure she is at least 5 feet away from you while eating. She came from Team Feral in Houston though, but I think she was born in the shelter, we adopted her a month ago. We just found out she has FIP and the vet started her on a steroid. Before that she would barely eat, now she's a violent little eater. I have to give her the tablet in a pill pouch treat, and the other day she was eating the treat and the pill fell out. I'm thinking great, now I have to stick it in a new pouch or she won't take the pjll and went to grab the tablet and she tried biting my finger before gobbling the tablet up. I was like.... um..... ok then. She has also mastered the grab and run, the magician's now you have it now you don't, and the that was never there to begin with. Oh, and the teleportation of either her, your food, or both. I don't want to say goodbye to her 😭😭

We used to have a cat that could skewer a hot dog and slide it right out of the bun. It just disappeared and he would be seen on the floor eating it. One time it happened right while I was sitting there. I felt nothing besides the plate losing the hot dog's equivalent in mass.

It can be very hard to train a cat to stay off of things so a lot of people stop trying. The one thing to remember is never feed your animal directly from the table. I always make sure that my pets get some of what I eat-after I am done eating and I have put what I'm going to give them into their bowl. After a while they learn but that is the procedure for getting people food.

I think a lot of cat owners just don't give a damn. Dogs often eat their and others' shit and vomit and their owners still don't mind being licked all over their faces. We may not be invincible, but we humans have a pretty hardy constitution and when we love animals we tend to let those concerns go, because they just become absurd and tedious in the bigger picture, especially when living around it every day.

My cat was an abandoned stray, he was a super thief for a long time even if he had food in his bowl. Best cat ever!! Now he is 11years old, diabetic, and the biggest lover ever.

Cats are so good at this.I had one that would nearly jump down my throat when he knew I was eating vegemite sandwiches.They are very sneaky but you can't help but love them.👍👍😸😸🐱🐱🐈

You can try to put them in a cage while you can have peaceful eating time .. I always do like that and they tend to scream as long as they want till I give them their potions ☺️😏 some cats will try disturb your food even after they ate theirs 🤦🏻‍♂️🤯
