Not only did I not see this posted, nor did I click on it, but being the first visit to KZbin today, it automatically played it. I sincerely hope that this channel stays here forever. Is that possible? No. Will I be here to the end? YES!! As I am quite certain that a lot of us will. Your videos make my day better. Thanks, Pete! 💯❤️

I agree, someday ,unfortunately for us, this entertaining channel will come to an end , I am just wondering if Pete is "letting us down" slowly, or if he will concentrate more on his hobbies, and thus do less farming videos, which ever way, it has been an interesting way of learning how this and that works, and how animals think and react too.

This channel keeps me grounded in this crazy world we live in. It represents responsibility, towards the environment and personal finance. It’s a safe space on KZbin. No politics. No hidden agendas. No paid advertisements. Not trying to sell you something or make you believe you need to buy something. The perfect blend of simplicity and efficiency. This channel is honest. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to produce your channel…from the day-to-day chores, Tractor/equipment mechanics & restoration, pasture management, animal husbandry, farm economics, farm management, farm projects, philosophical think pieces, etc, etc…love it all! A ton of great stories from “just a few acres!” The common denominator to all that great content is you & your wife…so, I suspect that whatever you choose to share (farm house maintenance/projects would be cool :) ), we’ll enjoy! Again, thanks for sharing your day!

However you clean the chicken coop is what works best for you. What is most important and made me smile is that you and Hillary both wore masks. As a retired Registered Nurse, I appreciate people protecting their lungs. And speaking of life changes, retirement is just a different job. The list of things continues, so there's no fear of finding ideas for video topics. And with your nice storytelling voice, of course we will continue to watch. LOL, my Grandbabies always come to my room when they hear your voice on the TV. They call you the Story Time Farmer, and like to help move the cows with you by also saying, "Come On Cows"🐄🙂

I found your page by accident and was i glad i did, your funny humour, seeing Hillary being able to deal with you hahaha Your love for each other, your mutual respect for each other, your animals, your farm ;-) I had a gentleman and his wife, who came from 4 generations farmers, they lived if the same house as their parents had lived and their farms. I met them when i was 5 years old in the beginning of the 1970's, i had went to school with their children's, children's. Sadly the lady passed away a few years back in her later 90's, the gentleman went to an old folks home suffering from Alzheimer's, and he was 98 years old. My son's used to get eggs from them, as did i, their stories, anecdotes and way of life always amazed me. As they grew older and older each year, the less animals they got. We had neighbours that would help them with their chores, animals, snow removal etc, and all that free and out of respect. People who judge you on the internet, for me are people with no life experiences really, being a farmer needs a lot of experiences, failures, commitment and endurance. Be yourselves and carry on with what you want to do and don't rely on internet trolls or wannabe's. 😉

Standing in front of the wood stove soaking in its warmth and contemplating life is one of the most rewarding aspects of winter. This is the first week we've had a fire going every night and frankly I can't wait for the first killing frost to officially end the growing season. There is just a few more crops to harvest and I can put away the canning supplies and settle in for a long winter's nap.

Yours is one of the few youtube channels that I still watch consistently. So many of them are just trying to create content and get clicks, so their content gets boring or goes off in a direction that I don't care about. I don't care for conspiracy theories. I watch videos to learn, not be preached to. I can watch CNN if I want to get worried. You guys are getting older and your goals will change. You just have to stay busy and stimulated.

My hubby is a beef eater but due to metabolic issues I no longer am. Doesn't stop me from admiring tho. And to smell good beef cooking brings me to tears. Oh, well. Do EVERYTHING on your farm YOUR way even if it is WRONG. Otherwise why have your own property! I taught my chickens to clean up their own coop. They hated it so much they moved away. I miss "em, but oh well. Ooo- Hillary I like to stand in front of our woodstove and read. Lucky to have a spot light in front of the stove. HI! I have been following you from Italy for a few years, you really have a beautiful farm. I'm sorry that I understand very little English because you deal with very interesting topics regarding agriculture. However, convey respect for all the animals you raise. Love your videos, a newbie here who found your channel by chance months ago. Maybe you could explain the face masks were not due to chicken poop smelling bad, but many city dwellers do not know that humans can contract diseases from chickens by inhaling manure particles. Infected manure particles contain spores, viruses or bacteria that can become airborne when disturbed, such as when cleaning the chicken coop.

I know you don't read comments anymore Pete, at least that is what you say. But I just wanted to tell you, I farmed for 15 years before My kids all left for college and kids. So I decided there was a better way and I started a Wholesale Tree farm. Worked like a charm almost no maintenance and My wife and I now travel, I gave the Tree Farm to my son who shares the profits with his sisters. So don't be afraid to take the leap, it is well worth it and it is inevitable. Farming is for the very young with strong backs and willing minds. You can change coarse, and adjust the goals you have about continuing purposeful farming - cattle, chickens, pigs and tractors - your channel is still far more superior, and practical compared to any other channel I’ve seen. Your videos are always genuine and honest as you explain what you do with expert credibility. I find it distressing to watch videos on other farm channels - they collect more and more animals and play around like it’s a petting zoo. I don’t understand how these lifestyle channels can afford to continue to carry on without purpose. I enjoy every video you share, please don’t quit sharing your ventures. And we’ve been short on an update with the breeding pigs! I was hoping there’d more piglets by now. I crack up every time you address them as “little sausages”. Be well, stay well, and keep on delivering updates, thank you!

Pete, YOU are the reason that we are going to get Dexter cattle. We put everything in storage and are now in the very beginning stages of clearing land for a homestead. You and Hilary always make my day. 😊

Hi Hillary and Pete, thanks for this informative and prospective on your farm life and future plans. I really enjoy 😊 your channel. As time goes by I look forward to growing older with you and what the future holds for life on your farm. I’m an older fellow myself and live out each day hoping to have a certain level of satisfaction. As you grow older I find that I just want peace ✌️ and tranquility in my life. I don’t want conflict and turmoil in my life. Give me peace and quiet. Great 👍 video, love it, thanks. Take care and peace out.✌️.
