When my parents died, their bibles that they had written in and studied together and prayed over is indeed a gift to myself and my brothers and sisters. There’s a wealth of information that we copied from their bible to our own family bibles as we start our own families, with our own traditions, as my parents raised us in the Lord, we will do the same with our Children.

I have many Bibles. A couple of premium, BUT my ESV journaling Bible is my love. My heart is in that Bible. I made notes galore, and decorated it with verses that spoke to me. It will always be special to me.

Your journey has truly inspired mine. I just got the inspire prayer bible. I have collected about 15 to 20 bibles. I love everyone of them. I'm trying to have 6 nice and full gardens. One for each of my babies.

I look forward to your Discipleship in 2021! This was an awesome vid and you inspired me at 54 to finally get creative and mark in my Bible. I own multiple Bibles and just purchased a Bible specific for Prayer, Journaling, and art. Bless you sis ~Lisa ps. just joined your FB and had no idea we are both from the Capital City, cool we are neighbors!

One thing I've noticed is to not put too many stickers in at first. Leave room for notes. After the notes, then put in stickers. Love your journaling ESV Interleaved. I have one of those, probably should use it more. It's filling up too fast, though! I use different colored pens in it. It's colorful just from that, then I take a pastel marker and circle the notes that are good for reference. It is good to date each one, also. Love your channel. So much inspiration and so little time!

Great video with lots of ideas on how to use different bibles. I never thought of using one for a specific reason, love it, and will be implementing some of them in the new year. Thanks for sharing.

I have several Bibles but not as many as you. I have my Bible that I read and study from. However I have a Bible I mark and study doctrine, benedictions and doxologies. I have a Bible that mark the verses that inspired the many hymns. I mark it with the hymn and the author of the hymn. I have two Bibles that I mark specific verses and chapters. I am always adding to the one. I have another that has notes that I can refer to when I am studying. I do have Bible gardens in some. I have no problem marking in my Bible. It helps when I am studying a verse that I may have read many times. Thanks for the awesome video.

Cat, your Interleaved Bible is amazing!!! Congratulations on your progress! I have been copying Scripture for about a decade now, but I don't follow the canonical order, I just pick a book of the Bible and copy it on a separate notebook. This year, my goal was to copy the four gospels, but I am a little late, still in the first chapters of John...

Now I don’t feel so bad...I picked 6 Bibles to study from for 2021. They are all different and will serve different purposes. I thought I was over doing it. Now I am sure I can do it ✝️✝️✝️✝️ one of them is The Life Hacks Bible and I’m really excited about that one.

I feel the same way because I chose 2 this year. Normally I only use 1 but I plan to compare the translations, kjv and niv, in the process of completing my reading plan for the year.

What is the publisher of the Bible that you are using to write out the entire Bible? What is its "publication title"? Thank you in advance. Your dedication to God's word is encouraging! May God bless you abundantly through your dedication to His word.

Hey , thanks for the nice review! Can I ask which highlighters you use? I have been using Mr. Pen highlighters, which are nice, but if you press down to hard, they wrinkle the page a little.

Hi Cat, I love what you have done with all your bibles; I have a few bibles for a specific purpose. My Inspire Bible is the one that I use to study the books of the bibles in depth. So far, I had studied some of Paul's letter in-depth (about 30 days in each one), I think two books of the old testament. The bible that I take to church has notes and highlights. The last bible, which bible is that one? I love the color and the flowers. I enjoy watching your videos. They are so inspiring.

How do you keep your handwriting so small in the Bible you are using to write it out?! Love it and you Cat! 😇💜
@catwoods54993 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I just write. I make sure to write out everything really slow. Practice practice practice like 6 to 8 hours a day. Not Joking. I use to have horrible handwriting and the only way I could get better was to work at it. ✍📖

Hi Cat, I love how all the writing looks in the margins!! I was wondering, do you have a color-code for your notes in your crossway heirloom bible? Like interchanging black and blue pen is that to distinguish the separate notes better and highlight in yellow vs. underlining in red
@catwoods54993 жыл бұрын
Yes the black & blue just helps me separate the notes. The highlights in the verse show what the notes are over
