I love teaching my White children that they have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about by simply being White. I also love teaching them racism, whatever color espouses it, is 100% wrong.

Africans are still being enslaved by muslims, how do we heal from the past and ignore that it hasnt stopped ? The slave trade of Africans ended only in some places but never stopped in others, why dont we focus some energy for our brothers and sisters there ? Its like we escaped the burning fire and forgot those still in the fire while we go after the great, great, great grandchildren of those who had been a slaver in a place where it has stopped.I hear the cries of the women and children suffering in slavery right now, today, all day, every day.We cry about what happened for ourselves but dont care that its happening to others.

The majority of White people's ancestors were not in America during slavery. Blackity-wacks think every White guy they see was an English slave master. Anglo-Saxons don't have the numbers to fill the entire White American population. Germans, Polish, Irish, Sacandinavian, Italians, Czech, Hungarians, Baltic, Balkan, Greek & Iberian people are the majority now and their ancestors have nothing to do with slavery because they weren't even in America when it happened. So, just like we don't expect outsiders to understand European wars with invading Arabs, Turks, Mongols,Persians etc Who told you we're supposed to feel bad ? You don't feel bad about all the crimes of Muslims against Christian Europeans and I don't expect you to so why not reciprocate

@DouglasHarding-hu1jc Thanks for the reply. Whether the book was fictional or not, the premise remains the same. The enslaved are conditioned to be enslaved, and they are not born enslaved. That logic can be applied to anyone or anything whose nature has been modified by the conditions emplaced by their/its captor. Within the concept called America, what is a "good" education if the educated are unable to solve the problem of injustice? The "educated" have been and remain conditioned by their captors solely for the benefit of their captors.

It has nothing to do with skin. Those of us who see human beings as the same felt hurt and horrified over slavery and we love to uncover history and fight racism side by side. When you have racial groups fighting for turf it is the same tribalism, racism and feudal mentality. The world is suffering for lack of the true spiritual qualities that can be reflected in a human heart. In that there is only one human race as the LIGHT in our hearts is all the same light, while hatred and anger are the absense of the light of love and happiness. Those things can only come from INSIDE a person. We need a new revelation of spiritual light that suits humanity for this day.All the past religions have sunk into division and materialism yet ALL holy books of the past promised a new revelation for the entire human race including Indigenous oral prophecies. As of now people are full of selfish desires pride and prejudice so the virtues in the hearts have gone dark and we seem to be degenerating. O WELL, it is written. How many people feel bad about women being pimped and children being trafficked male and female? Are people serious? Do their hearts care??

Take your concern trolling somewhere else. If you wanted Martin Luther King, Jr., you should've kept him. Most white people hated him when he was alive. You only pretend to like him since he's dead and you can put your spin on what he said. If you care about what MLK had to say, try this on for size - "Riots are the voice of the unheard." "First, I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice." "We are coming to get our check" Just for your information, we're not judging all white people as bad - but we are judging most of your ancestors....and truthfully, when you try to BS people and pretend like you are never racist like with your "don't judge" nonsense here, you know what you are. It's almost always the most racist people whining. It's never the white people who agree that there are undesirable white racists among themselves whining. They get that this isn't an attack on them.

Slavery does not equal racism Racism does not equal slavery The two concepts start to intersect and intertwine with each other after Bacon's Rebellion in the American colonies. At a certain age that view is fairly reasonable; so long as it is based on truth and an appreciation of the culture of the period... Back in the period when Africans were being taken as slaves, the powerful w😢aring tribes in Africa just tortured the men from other tribes to death, those taken to Arab countries were castrated - hence few Blacks in Arabia from all the slaves taken there. It was most likely only when Whites started buying captured slaves from Africa did the men get taken alive from tribes that would otherwise have been wiped out. So whenever Blacks choose to do so they can look back from their privileged position in the Western world and thank the Whites that they - their particular ethnic group - even exists at all! The alternatives for THEIR ethnic group had none left Africa was total ethnic cleansing. Britain and America were the first countries to ban the taking of slaves and first to have slaves released. It then took money, lives and use of their power and control at sea to stop other nations from continuing slavery; they tried to continue it. Around the turn of the 1900s Cecil Rhodes started to impose what was later taken over by the British a 'Pax Romanus' in Africa - where a big powerful empire could prevent powerful tribes engaging in wars to take other tribes women, children and possessions such as cattle. If people wish to remain tribal, whether against othertribes within their nation or across international borders - against those of similar ethnic background or other shades of skin colours - then I trust this can be done through achievements and pride is effort, ability and moral standards rather than as a mere ethnic cultural hatred bred from inciting hatred of others. Meanwhile in the West we are still trying to rein-in hyper Capitalism- where leaders cease to serve their population but revert to the chieftain-domination that, White or Black, has plagued the world with nepotism. Cadrés; people loyal to leaders or 'the system' perhaps even an ideology, prevent "the content of one's character" being one's main motivation for being human. Regardless of my discussion above I would be interested to hear your perspective and how progress can continue to occur in dealing with "monopoly capital" in Africa - whether these monopolies are White or Black, driven by ethnic tensions, political ideology or vagaries of history. Thank you for listening to my comments. Yours, Keith

Here is a perspective he completely misses: this man is painting "white people vs black people, "white history vs black history", "white culture and black culture"..... steriotyping entire races, cultures, history generalized by his statistics and his experiences.....the elephant in the room is..... this is from an AMERICAN lens he is painting all white people and black people with. I am not American. I have a different history, different demographic, different culture and in a nation with a different cultural make-up. However, because the USA is a leading influence in pop-culture, finance, technology, and information globally, my country is guily of "copy-culture". I grew up with a buddy in a small town, who is black, and he spoke like everyone else, played sports and other games like everyone else right through to junior high and then he moved. He was our buddy, and to be honest, it did not dawn us that he was different in any way. He was one of the neighbourhood kids playing guns, soccer, road hockey, go-carts, making tree forts ect. I met him 20 years later and he sounded like a crip or some sort 'hood gangsta'. WTF happened? MTV, USA pop-culture, rap culture, black oppression-speak, transformed our buddy into someone who speaks with an American ganster accent and lingo; however, I doubt he spent much of the last 20 years in the USA. He now made race an issue, forced the theme of racism as a talking point yet had always been treated like every other kid growing up. Now, because he made race a prominent issue, we could no longer treat him equally. We now had to walk on egg shells when interacting and repect the racial divide he created (when there was no racial divide before). This behavior was a transormation and did not represent his roots. It was a mental process learned, copied, and PERFORMED. He was now performing like a rapper, gansta, American, black dude, and dismissing his childhood where he was treated with fun, love, and equality. I hope the video maker understands becaue of the pervasiveness of American culture, HIS culture and history (to some degree) passes to black people even outside of the USA when it doesn't have the same relevance. It can be seen in black kids speaking and acting "black" *whatever that means* and cry oppression yet the statistics state we are number 2 globally in racial equity. The video maker needs to consider: my country never had slaves, but as soon as I cross your international boarder, am I an oppressor because I am white? How about my wife? She is not white, so does she get a pass from white guilt and white oppression? What about my kids who are half white? Are they 50% oppressors and they get half a pass from white guilt? It is FOOLISH to make anybody-ESPECIALLY little kids, who are just learning their own bodys' and minds with limited but growing understanding of social complexities, to be white-guilted because of their colour....complete idiocy! This man is using race to create divisions which will erode society not strengthen social fabric. His approach will foster hate. If he feels wronged, he should forgive, ask Christ for healing, and move on. That is how he will heal, be stronger, and earn respect from ALL PEOPLE (not just white people) PS. I don't think he understands the difference between racism and bigotry (they are different).

White people share a history. If you identify as white, that's significant. It's racial by definition and it confers privileges onto you. Your country never had slaves....but you are white.....and presumably you benefit from being white, because the money will have come to you in some way from the other whites. And if you have biracial kids, so what? That means history has no effect on those kids or anybody else? "Cry oppression". Yeah, you're not racist. I doubt your kids will grow up without issues. Yeah, whites have no effect on the world at all, there racism has done nothing. Who created the idea of race based on skin color and benefit wildly from it, still to this day? You. Stop complaining about everybody else when you are the source of the problem. Everybody is reacting in their own way to a problem you created for them for your own benefit.

@@shiloh369 nobody profits in the eyes of God for operating towards each other in ways which are void of love. Literally and utterly useless and worthless. Not to be desired but our desire for things which are void of love are all too prevalent. We're sick. We need healing. Our collective state is like one clothed in thin and dismal rags in the bitterly cold wind. straits wailingly and wildly dire. In the end, many will be ashamed of placing so much effort and enthusiasm in what is void of love though much of such is often deceptively cloaked, masquerading as something which should be applauded. All the noble voices of the God-given conscience which many knew were wise but suppressed as it did not suit desires and agendas amiss, will no longer have any place for suppression. No more applause. Will no longer be a warm fire to gather around. The human condition is one of stubbornness, and we always grasp for the next retort, the next back talk ultimately against wisdom. Harriet would benefit greatly from possession of a deeper historical background and learning about global context re: race, culture, colonialism, disparities and discrimination. Crime, fatherless families, drug use, lack of motivation, the lowest performance of any group (for decades!) on IQ tests, SAT, ACT, MCAT, etc., the continued expectation of assistance and handouts, as the real contributors to disparities since the late 1960’s. Thomas Sowell’s “Conquests and Culture” and “Race and Culture” would aid his discovery. In addition, a close look at how Africans treated other Africans, and continue to enslave and oppress their own people to this day, may un-warp his anti-whyte mind, but I’d doubt it.

SATs were invented by a racist geneticist. Caucasians were giving farm subsidies to rural caucasians to not grow crops, not requiring the father to leave, and no welfare checks and the total opposite when giving welfare to so-called blacks. Every 25 years congress votes to give so-called black people the right to vote. Why not vote every 25 years to give all citizens the right to vote. Finally, the recent supreme ct decision left legacy admissions in tact and deleted race considerations for admissions. No such thing as white people, that's mind f*&(. 400 years, the penalty for reading was death to so-called blacks. Reading? Relax, we got this. Trump had a father at home, look at his lawlessness, and all his minions, many of whom are in jail, where Fani's and Jack about to send him. So, swipe your credit cards for dennison, instead of coming here with your paternalistic attitude.

6:40 these are facts. That doesn't make black people stupid or worthless. Every race has their qualities and intellect and creativity isnt one that africans possessed until european and east asian genes were introduced by r*ping slaves. Even today, with the introduction of white/east asian genes into the admixture, without things like affirmative action, black teachers at university would not be a thing and black students would be extremely rare. It would be 70% Asian (indian/chinese) and 29.99% white. These are facts and saying the facts are racist is just silly.

Ignorance is a lack of intelligence, look at all the black historical architecture all over Africa and technology. With your low mental capacity you'd gaslight yourself into believing that black people couldn't live or survive until you non colour people come along. All your great buildings were copied from African regions you just couldn't copy the pyramids and colossal sculptures in mountains so your people attempted to disguise African features by destroying blatantly obvious features, noise and lips that distinction people of colour from you non colour people, but yet you lie to yourself that your more creative and intelligent.

White Americans are not Caucasians, those people aren't even from Europe. Caucasians are Asian, that's why "Asian" is literally in the word. It be like calling black people "Himalayans".

What you just said is not true. Where´s your proof to back that up?. Wyte americans and europeans are called Caucasians due to their origin. Like the Caucaus mountains of Russia. Are all so called black people from africa....NO. Asians are not called Caucasians. They a called Asians. Here is a reference from Wikipedia (.This article is about the outdated race concept. For the peoples of the Caucasus Mountains, see Peoples of the Caucasus. For the US racial classification "White" or "Caucasian", see White Americans. In the United States, the root term Caucasian is still in use as a synonym for white or of European, Middle Eastern, or North African ancestry, a usage that has been criticized.) Tell Wikipedia that they are a bunch of liars.

Caucasian’s (from the Caucasus mountains region between Turkey and Russia) are not Asian. They are Indo-European, Turkic, and Semitic, comprising an old diversity of about 50 different peoples from around the area. Probably except Asia 🤣 Did you just pull that shat outta your rear? 😂

@@yromaelle Actually, the Russian part is considered European, but everything south is considered Asian. Semitic peoples aren't European, originally. Indo-European..... what is the "Indo" from? Indo-European refers to languages, anyway, not people. It's a way of grouping some languages together to understand how they evolved. I guarantee the Indo (India) refers to some place in Asia and not Indianapolis. The people speaking such languages would extend into Asia, at least part of it. Caucasians and Aryans, for that matter, as concepts, are Asian..... I won't say that "Asian" being in the word Caucasian makes it mean that, though.
