Hi I have been a subscriber for quite a while and have watched most of your videos especially the ones on Bedok jetty. I have tried out lots of techniques and baits but had no luck. Can you give me some tips for aji, micro jigging and fishing at Bedok jetty in general.

@@Sue-ri8re hi, we dont do aji and microjigging. For fishing at bedok jetty, its alot about patience, there is no other tips involved other than the ones we had mentioned. The truth is that we have had countless of sessions where we don’t catch anything as well - its just that we dont post them. Our youtube channel is therefore kind of a “highlight reel” and you dont really see the sessions where we dont catch anything.

@@garyseah9812 hmm do you mean distance or timing? For crab net because of the resistance we cant cast that far, when reeling in quite fast like 15-20sec i think

@@garyseah9812 but would recommend check more frequently in the first few casts (10min~ in between) and see if the baits are taken fast or if theres crabs. Depending on the situation you might want to check more often or try casting towards somewhere else. Can experiment with casting distance also, esp if high tide crabs may be nearer to shore

For crabbing, any kind of bait that has smell is fine. Everytime you go fishing and have leftover bait at the session, you can keep in a ziplock bag and freeze. After a few sessions you would have accumulated quite abit and can bring when you go crabbing. If not can just get some frozen tamban

@@TanSeiYang can try the beach area near the longkang that leads to the mangroves i think. For mud crabs you are looking mainly at brackish water (mix of saltwater and freshwater) environment

Setup 2: Daiwa Phantom Surf Ex 480 paired with Shimano Beastmaster 10k loaded with 50lb Daiwa J Braid Setup 3: Daiwa Procaster 450 paired with Shimano Saragosa 14k loaded with 50lb Daiwa J Braid For fishing rigs: 80lb Dupont, 5/0 Owner J hooks, size 6-7 sinker.
