I pass this place two times a year and I’ve been in it a few times as well. You haven’t explored Memphis until you reach the top. It’s absolutely beautiful, you have a view of the city and the Mississippi and it looks really cool right now with the river being flooded. 20/10 would recommend.

Dude, I am 39 and I remember Bill Dance Outdoors on Saturday and Sunday mornings when I was a teenager and I lived in Florida. My whole life was fishing and friends...almost in that order. Now I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and fishing here is fun on occasion, but I very rarely catch anything that could compare to what I would catch in Flaarda, saltwater or fresh. Bill Dance was the MASTER of bass fishing and he never failed to entertain us fisherman. We also watched the BASS tournaments, Linder Outdoors, Roland Martin, and there were quite a few others that were always on Saturday and Sunday mornings on TNN. It's been literally 20 years since I've seen Bill Dance.

I know that you have alot, but watching your channel I'm sure will be just as entertaining as back when I used to watch your dad on TNN back in the day. Edit: I was SO excited when I found your dad's account on Fishbrain because he never fails to impress.

Oh yeah -That was a cool trip. Did you see the manyh HUGE alligator gars in the other pond? I been to that Pyramid a few few times. I usually take time to ride the elevator up to the top and eat at the restaurant up there (there is a observation deck outside at the top). For people who have not been there they can notice one of the decks at 4:18 at beginning of video. There is also a HUGE catfish swimming in a tank upstairs at the bar. Rumor has it was caught by Bill Dance(?). Thanks Scott - I will see you when I get back to Okeechobee. I missed you just North of Buckhead Ridge...you and the battle wagon were stopped at that little BBQ stand on HWY 441 near FastBreak Bait and Tackle. They sure do have a great pulled pork sammich!
