I tried that with a rooster once. The hens listened and shook their heads like trying to shake the sound out of their ears. I am a city girl. One time I saw a young chicken running alongside a barn. It would stick his head way out and make weird sounds. I thought it may have eaten Loco weed or corn mash. But no, it was learning to crow! Who knew. He stuck his head way out again, gave a loud cock-a-doodle-do. And I learned something about chickens. 😄😄😄

Sadly not at my place in Una off Lake Grove road. I may be scouting incorrectly. However in several years with 13 trail cameras out and about never a hog in front of a camera. Go figure. I was wondering how you were avoiding getting mobbed by deer flies and horse flies, then one got you. Stay safe.

Mr. Ellis a ? Instead of moving the truck can you just move your self to the opposite end the pigs will move to where you were previously which is closer to the truck, less work for you if you do that when you arrive.
