She denied responsibility for any bad behaviour and tried to present herself as a flawless saint and a martyr. Ironically, her testimony would have been far more believable and she might well have won if she had tried to portray herself as an imperfect victim engaged in mutual abuse.

I had so much hate in my heart towards my ex and it took YEARS of counseling and intense trauma therapy to just get to a place where I'm not seething at the THOUGHT of my ex and all of the awful things he put me through. Unfortunately we have a child together, so it makes things more complicated...I finally just recently was able to get to a point where I can forgive him and move on with my life... but I will NEVER forget what he did to me...the abu$e quite literally changed my life forever and left deep scars.... Not to mention that it would be a whole new trial, new jury, judge, etc... I'm not sure (I'm not a lawyer) what would or would not be allowed into evidence a second time around, what effect one trial could have on the other, etc, but JD probably doesn't want mentally go through all of that again or risk some sort of crazy situation that turns out worse for him. Basically, in her mind, she has nothing to lose by continuing to pick at the scab in JD's case anyway. Now accusing the jury of violating court orders and intentionally allowing social media to effect their verdict, that is a whole different animal. Idk what she's thinking on that front. Maybe she's assuming Elon will pay for everything either way.
