My hometown - Khoupum Valley The old truck, we called it 'Shaktiman' 😊, best for off-road, put anything on it and it will take you anywhere. The lake, is actually a dam 😋. Khoupum valley is the 2nd biggest valley in the state. We belong to the Rongmei Naga tribe. I know you're seeing all the things for the first time so a lot of mistakes but not a problem you'll only understand if you explore long enough. People from outside have different perspectives but you're all welcome to our place. Due to the ongoing issues in Manipur, our local insurgents are alert but you don't have to worry. Few tourist spots Dam, waterfall, cave, Irang river and the most important one, visit all the villages and talk to our people. If you're interested we have a few local youtubers, connect with them for a better guide.

Actually....the ethnic tribes that the media & common people refer to as "Kuki" don't refer to themselves using that term. It was the British who classified them this way. Kuki (also called Thadou) are a single tribe that is ethno-linguistically related to Mizo, Hmar, and Zo, which are all different tribes. Their languages are similar, sort of like how Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French are all similar (though not identical) and fall under a specific language group (Romance languages).

@goldmorrison4528 it's not just my situation it's INDIAs situation, where people there is Manipur we're living happily , just a drop of some political seeds were dropped into it, that turned out to be a big mess between two tribes, almost for 1 year ago, Manipur is still burning. The immediate provocation is the demand to grant ST status to the Meiteis, but there are other reasons behind the simmering anger. The violence began on May 3, after the All Tribal Students Union Manipur (ATSUM) held a solidarity march in all districts opposing the recent Manipur High Court order, which had asked the Manipur State government to send a recommendation to the Centre regarding the demand to include the Meitei community in the Scheduled Tribes (STs) list. On May 4, as the violence escalated, the Centre invoked Article 355 of the Constitution, which is a part of emergency provisions. It empowers the Centre to take necessary steps to protect a State against external aggression or internal disturbances. In the last few days, convoys of trucks belonging to the Army, the Assam Rifles, the Rapid Action Force, and local police personnel have moved into the State and entered several affected areas. Over a dozen people have been reported killed, hundreds have been wounded, and over 9,000 people belonging to the Kuki and Meitei communities, besides others, have been displaced so far. Defence sources said that around 9,000 people were rescued from violence-hit areas and given shelter. Buildings, homes, and other property, including vehicles, have been destroyed. There is no official confirmation of the number of fatalities yet. Lastly ,Naga people do consider them as apart of India, it's just a fake information that it is circulated. INDIAN ARMY HAS NAGA REGIMENT TOO who serves for our county INDIA. Pray for Manipure , PEACE ✌️

Those are Shaktiman trucks. It was earlier used by the Military & later it was auctioned to the civilians. It is mainly used for carrying Woods & crossing muddy dense forests because of its power & also since it is vinage model so it's easily repairable by any experienced driver's in forest.
