Yup. I want to see my stepmother and thank her. Thank her for never really helping me when I needed her. For her not helping me it just pushed me to help myself and I had helped out a coworker and our friendship blossomed into more. The person who she helped out the most hates her. My stepmother also helped out my sister and her kids the oldest now blocked her cause she tried treating his kids different. He has a girlfriend and she has a son from previous relationship. At Christmas I got all the kids presents not just his kids. You treat them all the same. When you get married or engaged they become family.

I assumed OP's sister was just a spoiled brat, but after hearing about the bus thing, it just makes me believe she is a psychopath. And the fact that OP's parents think that what OP did was wrong just shows they were just a narcissistic family. The way OP confronted her parents and betty before moving out from the house was a good move. All this time they refuse to admit their mistake and try to push the blame on OP. By confronting the three of them before moving out would make them feel guilty. The house would be full of tension as the parents had lost 1 daughter because of their stupid pride and unfair behavior. Plus how much betty try, she would get a hard time trying to hold on her relationship with andy because aside him being a cheater the parents wouldn't be able to accept him because he had broken their family so deep. Not really. The hate and revenge affect only the person that is holding it. She apologized to relieve herself of the past and allowed herself to move forward. Getting away from those toxic people gave her the freedom to not be a doormat anymore, and what they do to themselves is all on them. Can I say that Andy was wrong for talking about OP being toxic in their relationship? That I cannot determine, we are only hearing from OP's viewpoint and toxic people don't see themselves as toxic. So on that I can't say. However what I CAN say is that isn't an excuse to cheat. If you are in a toxic relationship, get out of it. Also IF she was actually Toxic and mentally unwell, did he really think cheating with her younger sister would not trigger her? I also truly hate the parents in this story. The flash back shows that they have a history of favoring the younger sister. I guarantee that if my child came home bloody and their sibling was to blame, there would be consequences.
