I am from India and started watching this show a few days ago. I like judge caprio and his way to understand people, there situations and make perfect decision based off the scenario is incredible. Not a single decision of his seems wrong or partial. That's why he is judge, right. 🙂🙂. I am addicted to this show now.

I agree but at the same time 20+ tickets just means negligence. If she had maybe 5 or less, the judge would have dismissed it but that many just means she didn't give a rat's tail. Feel bad for her though, being a mother is not easy.

@@r.r911 sometimes you can be so down that it all seems pointless. to be honest she looks ragged and worn out like shes about to go down of exhaustion. in such desperation you tend to forget stuff. But still i agree. he should at least make her pay something. Hes nice in letting her spread it out a long time.

Citizens or the world, if you ever get caught in Providence after a violation, the best thing to do is appear before Judge Caprio with a NICE ATTITUDE. He probably will be nice to you and reduce the penalty or even dismiss it but please, be nice, things will go smoothly in court. Congrats Your Honor for your high human being quality. This proves my adage that Positivity breeds positivity Just as Negativity draws Negativity By this Absolutely Amazing Judge being positive and Kind he Brings that kind of Positivity out of the Police Officers that assist him in his daily duties, therefore making them the kind of Stand Up Law Abiding, Honest, Kind, Giving, Uncorrupt, Unselfish, Very Rare form of positivity seen from Law Enforcement officials. It is so Rare to see such an AWESOME, GENUINE, KIND HEARTED PERSON SUCH as JUDGE CAPRIO! It is really a crime that more people can NOT find it in their hearts to be compassionate & kind! Or when we do, people take it the wrong way, and then often we must put boundaries in place JUST for being a Good, honest, nice person. Especially if you are a female. Males can act the exact same way yet no boundaries would ever be crossed, unless they DO NOT care if boundaries are crossed, but I have always done that exact same thing and males many times overstep their boundaries. It is most unfortunate that being a decent and nice person isn’t always handled in a respectful manner. However, we cannot let those few negative people Stop us from spreading RESPECTFUL positivity to all we can. There will always be people that try to spoil others from spreading positivity or even are intimidated by someones positivity?! Life is full of good and bad, it is your choice to weed out the negative influences in your life and fill it with people who are trustworthy, honest, going GREAT places, and most of all POSITIVE 😃🥰🤩

I believe in this area every single street is paid parking even outside their own homes, everywhere (unless they pay for a spot or buy a yearly pass) . The judge has also said in the past that when people are working in the town it’s often unavoidable that they get many tickets, I’m not sure why because they didn’t go into that, they just said it’s common.

I have watched a lot of these episodes of this program and I'm sorry I have to make a negative comment. I understand there are a lot of deadbeat fathers out there. But honestly, being a single mom is not a valid excuse for 39 parking tickets. As she kept getting tickets, did she not think she should stop breaking the law?? I'm glad the Judge didn't dismiss this one!

wish the young single mother with the boy at the beginning could've been more embraced - she had an awful lot of tickets, but some manner of kindness could've helped her. for single moms it can at times get so lean, and hard to even look at bills when there's no money at all to pay them

Hi Jane. The Judge did cut her a deal with over 20 tickets. A down payment then less than a dollar a day for someone who is working is pretty good. If you consider the true total would have been 20x$20 tripled for late payment and $100 boot fee is $1300. Pretty good deal I think

The Judge is so lenient very often. Why is he so strict to this one woman and tells her that she will get sanctions with a third violation in 18 months? There are people with 10 or more violations and he is lenient to them, and here he is very strict because of 2 or 3 violations? I don't unterstand that ...

I live in the western part of the U.S. I've watched A&E's Parking Wars, and now Providence. I am totally puzzled by all this license plate switching! Turn in your "tags" (plates here). Whatever, whatever! My plates stay on my car should I sell it. I report the sale to the DMV. They have the bill of sale with the date and the info as to the person who bought it. If that person doesn't register that car in a timely fashion, their info is still on record and mine has been removed from that vehicle.

Maybe you should obey the law, 39 tickets These women using their children to get off. I am a single mom and I obey the law, make her pay, or she will never obey the law. You are a kind compassionate judge but people are taking advantage of you, this is one of them, so if you give her a break, tell her if she comes into your court again with these parking tickets she will have to pay them all I worked in the system and my reputation was that I was tough but fair and kind, that’s the reputation I was proud of. If she just had a couple tickets it’s one thing, it’s the 39 that showed you she had no respect for the law, giving her a break with warning is a fair judgement
