Coming in to court is voluntary, in most cases. The majority of defendants come in to fight their ticket because they felt they were wrongly ticketed, or they have an excuse they'd like the judge to consider. People do have the option to mail in their payment.

this man is an angel. He actually cares about people. We should all be so lucky to have a judge who actually cares. People who give him a thumbs down obviously have never been to court. Hope you never have to learn first hand what a uncaring judge cam do to your life.

Just found this Channel, subscribed instantly. Judge Caprio is a Character and a half. He's probably the most sensible considerate judge who's sat on the bench. We don't have Judges like this in Scotland, wish we did. Judge Frank Caprio, should be sitting in a Court in D.C making changes for the American people with the compassion and wisdom of the Top Judge and man who he's shown to be. Top geezer all round good guy, first time I've ever said that about any judge. He and Judge Judy should get together and Make something happen.

The supreme court is way different from what this man does. As a traffic court judge and chief judge in Providence he is able to interact with the public and have fun at work. Our supreme court justices have a very boring job that includes of reading and studying amongst themselves. Its boring and tedious. He would not like that.

It's good to know we have people like this in the justice system that truly care about the people that step in front of their benches and not just doling out fines to make sure the municipality can afford new computers at the City Hall. This judge has so much wisdom and so much experience that he knows well who are the ones who know they made a mistake and do regret it and those others who try to pull the wool over his eyes. In all cases, he is not after punishment, but he makes sure that the offenders know that for society to live in harmony together , there is a limit on how much one can go as far as not caring for other people. He teaches and does not give punishment when he can. To those that show signs that they do not care about the law, well, he insists that they pay a portion of what they deserve to make them remember that next time they meet a similar situation, well, they should be more responsible, as living with others, needs obeying some regulations. He is a humanist, and not after a vendetta! Your honour, congratulations for your attitude.
