Quick tip… when Texas rigging, hook a little more so the bait covers the eye of the hook and the knot. Cleans up the presentation a little. Love the vids!

If you want some MASSIVE crappies you can fish for them at Beach Pond on the Connecticut side. That pond has some of the largest crappies I've ever seen, I've never gotten one under a foot there.
@Max-oo8yo2 жыл бұрын
I need to try beach pond. I'm not too far from it. Whenever I go by it always seems very windy and the water's choppy so I'd probably need to try in the evening.
@RambleyShiba2 жыл бұрын
@@Max-oo8yo It can get windy, I know I practically live on it. But as long as you have weights on your line or a kayak you can get a line out pretty easily. I'm not sure I've ever seen it not be windy expect during July.

Brother we want the bass. I’d be disappointed if I caught a crappie. Good eating but let’s be honest, you’re there for a trophy fish not for s good eating one. Want to catch good eating fish then book an 8 hour trip with Al Gauron in Hampton beach. Get to fish with the child actor from the movie bad grandpa with Johnny Knoxville.

Fish them almost the same as a bass sometimes with smaller size lures. They love jigs with tiny swimbaits all colors.
