I guess you can say materialism ate away at our survival😂 cuz man idc i come from colorado all fish is tasty XD except bluegill they kinda make sense to toss out theres not alot of meat so you barely get anything out of killing the fish it makes sense to let it live lol but carp x3 ive had some delicious carp its a bit "gamey" just bc of the dirty water but its not too diff from when you field dress your buck as opposed to when you dress it at home its a flavour that can be cooked out if ya dont like it 😂 i typically dont care food is food and if its healthy then idc about the taste tbh XD

Ya know I have always wondered why so many that arr predominantly right handed use their rising reels as left handed. That said many of them have a universal switchable feature so that one can put the crank part on either side of the reel and rod so do get better dexterity for those that are right handed and would be Abel yo crank it batter with the right hand. Most reels have thsi feature some do not. On the opposite side of the reel that thw crank part of the reel is on is the other side of the shift of that crank that goes through the reel and works in corporation with the inner parts of thw reel. On the outer other side of the real where the shift is to meet the other side. There usually is a threaded know that acts like a washer or bolt. If ya were to unscrew that part it would allow the person fishin to remove that crank and it's shift in one piece and out it back in the same way but on the other side of the reel. Resulting in the ability to use the reel for right handed fishin. That all said for some it's sort of like skateboarding. Some skate momgo. In terms of fishin some may be predominantly right handed but are more functional cranking with the left hand and stabilizing the rod with their right. Mi go or goofy style if one were to use skateboarding terms or lingo. Though many reels do allow interchangeable ability to switch the reel crank onto the other side. For those that were unaware that is. With that keep calm and fish on... stay safe and be respectful folks. P.s. if in the state of Florida one is allowed to open carry while huntin or fishin... that said Florida needs to catch up to us here in texas and stop infringing and violating the constitution in full not partly. And allow constitutional carry and to be allowed to carry and open carry at any point in time.

As an American, i never understood the hate for carp. It takes a while to cook properly, but if you cook it right, it's pretty good. Besides, they get fucking huge. Seems like a waste to leave out any kind of big edible fish.

So I grew up with my dad being a fisherman out of the New York City harbor. There's a type of carp there too. Now my dad explain to me why a sea Robbins (Atlantic saltwater "carp") is considered a trash fish as well. Well trash fish are very hard to mechanically process swiftly. They're extracted from mass fishing catches and thrown back into the sea or processed for some other use. My dad taught me how to clean and cook see Robin but it's considerably difficult. I agree, I would buy these trash fish if they were just keep them whole wrap and sell them at the market. Let me do the work that the machines won't do. Everything's too expensive to be ignoring food options.

We eat catfish though, and catfish tastes like the water it came from but carp is terrible? I don't believe that. Don't think I've had carp, but something tells me if you called it the Cyprus Grass Fish, you'd probably get a lot of people who would fry it up and claim their family had always eaten this delicacy
