There was an update: wife had a mental breakdown, she was drowning her self in alcohol and shooting stuff, she was sent to a mental facility and is under house arrest for attacking a cop that was trying to remove her from a park where children play. She was obligated to join AA and she had a change of heart. One of the steps is ask for forgiveness so she sent an email to OP with all these details. She is currently dating her Sponsor(I’m pretty sure that’s no allowed but idk) and she is felling like herself again and is happy. Op is debating if he tells him about the cheating since it looks like he doesn’t know the details

If you can prove it's true, then there is no crime and you're innocent "Difamação" (Defamation) is publicly accusing someone of dishonorly conduct, whether true or false. (This is the one I got caught on). So, if I go on Instagram or Facebook and start posting shit about my ex, whether it's true or false, I am commiting Defamation according to Brazilian law, as I am damaging someone's reputation publicly. In the USA law defamation only happens if it's false.
