Store your cash inside of books at home. If your home is broken into, guaranteed your cash will be there. They also have gun and jewelry safe's that look like books. Books are like kryptonite to 99.5% of thieves.

Oh, no no no. Bookstores are regular victims of theft. Several bookstores I've visited even had a 'shoplifting section' of books most often stolen. Among the most frequently stolen books are anything by Charles Bukowski. You can put it out on the shelf in the morning and by the end of lunchtime it will be gone. People will stuff so many books in their pants they can barely walk. A healthy 20 something strides in but an hour later they hobble out, taking small steps. I've seen this countless times.

These guys can checkout books from any public library. And if the library does not have it, they would look for it in other libraries and get the book. Your city's librarian would be glad to loan them to you! We live in the wonderful age of information, It has never been this easy to have access to books on all sorts of topic in many languages. Then you have the internet with so many resources. And if you don't have a Computer and WiFi then again the library would let you use their computers. It is all free, no need to steal.

Dude could have legit just walked in the store during opening hours and walked out with the books and it would’ve all led up to where we’re at right now except no thousand of dollars in damages. Hard to find a motive for such a crime since most of the loss is glass.
