You generally go on a one day course where they show you what the steering wheel, brake and accelarator pedals are for. The assumption being that these maggots are not really bad, inconsiderate and life threatening sh*ts they're merely misunderstood.

The scary thing is these drivers actually think their driving is top, given they avoided an accident. When will they realise that if it wasn’t for other drivers’ superior skills they would end up being scraped up off the tarmac, potentially along with a completely innocent victim.

Lincs Police have learnt not to publish the pathetic punishments, unlike the previous videos. I have no doubt that whatever they received was far too lenient.

I am the cyclist in clip 4 who was hit by the vehicle shown, After reporting the incident I have nothing about what was done, so it seems that bad driving is shamed on social media, but no actual legal action is taken by the police.

My local force aren't able to give individual feedback. If they had to write update letters to the hundreds of clips they review and action each week, they would have to take less action on X amount of clips because they're writing update letters all the time.

@Ultra Vires I don't know. Would you say a victim of a crime should be informed of the end result? Do you not think that from a PR point of view, getting news out to the community that reporting crime is not a waste of time would be a good thing? I agree, giving weekly updates on things like driving infractions is a waste of time, however there is no reason why an end of process notification should not be sent. Policing has many roles in society, and is better able to achieve results when working for and with the public. If the attitude of the Police is that they cannot be bothered with the people they are in place to serve (whether that is true or just perceived), then there is a problem with the Police.

#1 nearly ended up being decapitated by the oncoming HGV. A generous blast of its air horn from about 18" would have made them soil their breeks no doubt! Had to cover up the index plate because some would think B311 END was offensive...

The ones with the dangerous overtaking should be fined £20,000 minimum and banned for life. They are a dangerous to the rest of us and should never be allowed behind the wheel again.

If the number plate is shown and then the car gets sold the poor innocent person who now owns the car will get the abuse . What they should do is not to hide their identity when it's very easy to see the individuals face , like in the last clip with the prick in the Audi, then the actual person will receive the abuse they deserve for years and years. Personally I was hoping he was going to loose his head when he nearly drove into the on-coming lorry!!!

Is there some reason you don't publish the consequences to these appallingly dangerous drivers? Maybe you're embarrassed by their excessive leniency. That driver at 1:27 should have received a 12 month ban and a heavy fine for that close pass of a cyclist who had right of way. It was clearly deliberate.

The van at Holbeach roundabout is down to poor road design, 2 lanes round the roundabout then nowhere to go once you exit it.

Generally poor junction design can be a problem but in most cases it's down to impatient drivers trying to get just 2/3 cars ahead or poor roadcraft on the drivers part. In fact leaving the 'peppermint' (as it's called) roundabout there is 75 mtrs to merge before it becomes '2 way traffic'. A mitigating factor are other drivers who won't let drivers merge as the they consider them 'queue jumpers' and in most cases 7 miles later at the A17/A16 Sutterton rb all the vehicles are still 'nose to tail' with nobody having got 'anywhere fast'. The Lincs highway Agency could extend the carriageway further than 75 mtrs but you'd still get drivers trying to 'push in' at the last moment. They could also make the left lane for left turns only and the right lane for straight on. With adequate road signs/road markings , this would make sense as there is no road on the right for westbound traffic, however traffic surveys show 80% of traffic is westbound with only 20% turning left on the A151. And in case you're wondering, I'm an Advanced ADI Fleet 'freelance' driving instructor working with companies such as BT, Natl Grid, British Gas, B&Q, I'm trained in 'post collision courses' as well working with Hampshire Police doing 'pre court' assessments and written legal reports to Magistrates.
