I know I said it last time mate, but that GSA looks so stable on them bends. There's one in that colour scheme for sale down here, same year too😉😉 One of my bug bears is cars braking all the time for nothing, especially uphill. Summer? What feckin summer, been terrible so far ain't it. If it wasn't shit weather, it was shit traffic. Agree with how they teach new drivers these days, pish poor!

@tojj29 Alex is always saying how well the GS takes the bends with ease. Alex will keep that bike for a long time. Willie has also gone back to the GS lol Drivers these days seem to brake for anything. Rather than read the road they just sit too close to the cars in front or brake when they see a bend and there's absolutely no reason to brake going uphill, gravity is your brakes there! I also think that a lot of driving instructors fall short of how to properly teach pupils these days and only teach them to a level on how to pass the test rather than teach them how to properly read the road. I also think that the medical intervention people had during the COV period has altered their way of thinking and functioning but that's another story....

@GermanJobbies yes absolutely Dunc, didn't help that we had our denims on. I had my waterproof trousers in the top box but as you say it was too late lol

Ha ha nowt worse. I always carry a very thin set of waterproof overalls pants, just incase it rains. As for jacket, well I have had so many, but my best is my Dryrider waxed Cotton jacket, light enough for summer and has the lining for colder weather. But I rewax it every 2 years and it completely repels water. Oh, like u I hate constant breaking, however I found all these new cars with adaptive cruise control sit and follow the car Infront and the adaptive control actually causes the brake to go off and on all the time, such a pain in the ass though.

Cheers Dan, I usually have waterproofs in the panniers and had waterproof trousers on that trip but by the time I stopped safely I was absolutely soaked as I had denim jeans on and my summer jacket lol
