When I was 16/17 I played the songs from the first seven Iron Maiden's albums 4/5 days a week, and I can say that the songs from this album are a tour de force for every rock bass players! In my own Caught somewhere in time is the most difficoult of Maiden's songs: You must have two iron arms! You've got an impressive work on this song! Great sound, great feeling, perfect tecnique! It's too hard to play Caught somewhere in time at this level, and You do It! Hands down! Greetings from Italy!

My favorite Iron Maiden album ! I wish i could travel back in the 80s and watch blade runner at the cinema... then walk down acacia avenue next to Eddie. What an album cover guys ! Sorry i did no comment about the bass playing, i was caught somewhere and totally forgot about it ! Sometimes i cant really tell if you use 2 or 3 fingers for the gallop, its probably cause you re so relaxed and ring finger just goes with the flow :)

The trick is to totally relax the arm and literally 'feather' play the strings rather than pluck, I don't know what Harris uses but I did a fest with him on the bill a couple of years ago and Im pretty sure he used some sort of oil on his hands, could be wrong but from what I saw walking up to the stage with him .............

Awesome! The whole video. But the playing in particular. You have managed to bring the original excitement in the manner of Steve Harris himself.👍 Although..the notes are only 90% accurate. I have been doing some serious work myself transcribing some Maiden songs recently which lead me to isolated tracks and really only then one can really hear all the notes right. Why am I saying this..because your interpretation is marvelous and it deserves to be flawless. There are some interesting moment when he chooses different lines to guitars and it's a real treat. Once aganin, I had a great time watching. I'll look up more of your stuff and share.
