Caught Specks NONSTOP With This Technique!

Pretty soon, we'll all have to run to outside waters if we want speckled trout that will hit like a ton of bricks and make us wonder for a moment if our gear is up for the challenge, but that day is not here yet.
There are still some really nice fish in inside marshes, and that's precisely where my buddy Chris Macaluso and I went to catch them using a technique that's always productive this time of the year.

Think de "community" hole,de Trassels,about done for now,found some fine specks in the Lake Borgne area and I lost two HUGE specks possibly well over 22 inches and fat s pigs-headed back out this coming Monday.Doggone trolling motor decided to head S few weeks ago and been in contact with trolling motor repair shop and they should start working on trolling motor next week.Funny thing is we anchored up this past Th then did nice drift where I caught stud red,10 plus lbs and small flounder on very next cast!!Nice fish and we boxed some fine specks.

Fished port sulphur a few weeks ago and grand isle two weeks ago. Caught a lot of nice fish. The ones in the marsh in Delacroix are heavier fish. Stomachs all full of shad and croakers

I got on them at 7:15 pm, fishing out of my kayak yesterday. It was non-stop until I left them at 8pm. Largest trout came on a Super Spook and measured 27". I lost two other big ones, but that's gonna happen with topwaters.

The trout in the lower laguna Madre are gobbling hand sized pogies right now. It's interesting yall have river shad. I think shad variants are the best feed for heavier fish.
