There are many things that make these videos relaxing, but as an ex-driving instructor, the wonderful driving skills here really relax me. In this regard "Life is too short" is the best of the best in my opinion. Unfortunately, some other van life channel's driving gives me stress and I worry about the safety of those channel makers. I love this channel.

We own a beautiful black kitty called Skinny Minny and she has been very good luck for us as she just showed up at our door one miserable February at minus 30 degrees celcius and has been a companion for our son as he recovered from his second traumatic brain injury and heart surgery . I was so glad to not hear the typical jibe about black cats crossing your path but that he was lucky ! They get such a bad rap and shelters have a hard time finding them a home because of the superstition..... you two are just nice people!!!!!! Cherryl from Canada

@@LifeistooshortCK Yes , she has provided many laughs over the last few years and has even prompted me to write and illustrate a book called " The Inconvenient Cat" for my son so that when the time comes that she is no longer with us we just have to leaf through the pages and there she will be ! By the way Tobias has recovered very nicely and we count our many blessings every day,,,,,,,Currently 5:50am , pouring rain , 2 degrees C and the last day in our fifth wheel for the reason .Time to winterize until May .Some of my best sleeps are in the trailer with the rain teeming down , makes me lazy though . Those days call for a good book and a cup of tea...Keep Safe and thanks for taking me to places I would otherwise never see...Cherryl from Canada

Lovely Vlog, That was heavy rain. Don't think you were too far wrong when you said, someone may have fallen of a horse! they were very heavily mobilised. Are the little "windows" in the lift up part of the roof waterproof? I thought they were just insect proof.

The little flaps in the roof tent do sometimes let rain in if the wind is blowing from the side. Luckily that night the rain was just straight down😅

I don’t know what device you use but iPhone (and iPad, surely) have an app called iLighteningCam that will catch lightening and get decent pictures of a lightning strike. I will most often see lightning within the clouds but the app has done a decent job catching strikes that came out of the clouds. As is often the case, when one puts out a new app or ability, the other follows in the next upgrade so I suspect there is one on your platform by now. I have had this for at least 5 years. Whatever you were wanting to do about the stripes on the road, but could not as you retired and are no longer an officer. Had you been bothered by that 20 years before when you were still an officer, how effective would your attempts to improve things would have been while visiting another country? I had determined where you were earlier in the series but have since lost track and am clueless as to where you are here. If I had to guess, I would say you were in Western Pennsylvania. 😅

You are not allowed to take most foodstuffs from the UK into the EU so on this trip we only took essentials like tea bags, coffee, sugar and condiments for cooking. Everything else we bought as we needed it.
