Chaulai is known as Amaranth in English. It is a species of plant found all over the world. Chaulai (Amaranth) is also an impressive source of Iron, Calcium, Vitamin C, Phosphorous, Selenium, & Magnesium. Chaulai is one of the richest plant forms of protein available.
Amaranth is rich in antioxidants, including gallic acid and vanillic acid. Ingredients:
500 grams of Chaulai leaves(Amaranth leaves), 1 medium-sized onion, 8-10 cloves of garlic, 2 green chilies, 2 whole red chilies, 2 pinches of asafoetida, 1/2 teaspoon of carom seeds, salt as per taste, 2-3 tablespoons of mustard oil.
500 ग्राम चौलाई के पत्ते, 1 मध्यम आकार का प्याज, 8-10 लहसुन की कली, 2 हरी मिर्च, 2 साबुत लाल मिर्च, 2 चुटकी हींग, 1/2 चम्मच अजवायन, नमक स्वादानुसार, 2-3 बड़े चम्मच सरसों का तेल।
