The ending killed me. The fact that we never actually get to see the actual events this is a heartbreaking rendition. When Kokichi was sweating and staring down it just reminded me that he didn't want to die but he realized it was the only way. And he died brutally, slowly smashed to a paste. Kaito finally seemed to show concern for Kokichi. The sigh at the end makes it for me though. Its heartbreaking

He might as well HAD TO play along with the title and the rule of the game without getting himself as the blackened if that's a choice as I mentioned before of what he did and his purpose for whatever it takes to end danganronpa.
