Causes and Fixes P0302 Code: Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected

Po302 2006 Subaru sti. Did all swaps. Compression and leakdown test all good. Noid test on injector connector good. Used smoke machine for vacuum leak, no leak found also did exhaust side. Changed upstream and downstream o2 sensors OEM denso. What did I not check???

My car had an epc and check engine light at the same time. Then this code came up. My car dont have a disruptor cap so its the spark plugs, coil, or fuel injector?

2018 toyota camry SE 2.5L I did everything. Fuel pump fuel filter New. Fuel injectors and spark plugs. New. Did the swapping. Still same code. Cleaned out Fuel rail. When accelarate fast my misfires hits and than a loss of engine power comes up.. loose A LOT of power. When I pull over disconnecting coil and or Fuel injector doesn't change the engine meaning the problem is sitting on Cylinde 2 for sure. But only does it after that acceleration and continues to fail Unless I turn off engine for awhile it goes back to normal. Slight misfire but that cycle continues. Wires??? O2 sensor? I clean out the MAF sensor don't seem to have any intake valve leaks from my tests... Help needed anyone. Thank you guys/girls so much God bless !

Intermittent problems can be hard to troubleshoot. It sounds like a coil going bad, but that is just a guess. I would remove the spark plug and, see how it is burning, match it to a burn chart to see if it is a fuel or spark issue.

@HVAC_Mechanic the whole time. It just needed OEM spark plugs. I got auto lites from autozone and that's why I still had the issue. Learned a huge lesson for this vehicle and for the future vehicles.

I have 2017 kia rio and gave me random code misfire. So switch all 4 sparks and all 4 coils now says p0302 and everything is new what als could it be any hellp would be much appreciated

It needs to be diagnosed, but I would test the wiring and the injectors on cylinder #2.

Please help. Have 2004 Chevy Colorado and shaking mid-firing engine literally started over night. Check engine codes are p0171, p0014 and p0302. Where should we start first

Anything I say is a guess, but has the oil been changed regularly? If the VVT solenoid, which oil flows through, gets clogged up, it can cause issues such as a P0014. Also, I would test the components on cylinder #2, such as the coil and injector.

Full synthetic oil changed regularly. Replacing spark plug and injector code today. Will update
