Hello, the general doctor found pus cells in my urine and told me I had UTI so he prescribed Ciprofloxacin for 7days. After I completed the medication I visited the gyne and the was pus cell of 26 HPF in the swab culture...he has says I have a yeast infection. So he has given me pessaries. What could be the reason for so much pus cells in my body ? Please answer

Deer pus cell is caused by a bacterial infection or inflammation. Ciprofloxacin is not currently successful in UTI. Next time, ask your doctor to do a urinary culture.
