Cavalier Super Tourer Onboard Silverstone Classic 2013

FW doing the business at Silverstone Classic Race 1 Qualified 6th after wheel bearing collapsed finished 2nd on the road then promoted to P1 following an exclusion.

Sierra has so much power on the straights but the super tourers eat them alive under braking and cornering

Originally raced in 1995 first by Anthony Reid (FIA Touring World Cup), then used in the the same years BTCC as a works car driven John Cleland, James Thompson and later in the season by Mike Briggs, when he replaced James after his big crash. Was then sold to Mint Motorsport were it was used in 1996 driven by James Kaye, and 1997 Jamie Wall drove it.

not technically a super tourer as it was designed and built 3 years prior to the Supertouring class homologation. there's an old tiff needle video of him comparing the cavalier to the vectra...... which was a super tourer.

'super touring' was introduced in 1995....before that they were fia class 2 touring cars. This is a 1995 Cavalier the last one built in September of that year and was designed and built to run wings and splitters hence yes it is a Super Tourer.
