The cavalry sword seems like a sword / falchion hybride to be honest. The range alone makes it better than the falchion for me at least. It slaps just as hard, maybe the slashes are weaker, but overall really solid.

An interesting thing of the campaign pass in question: It costs 1000 crowns to buy, but it also gives you 1000 crowns in return for completing the entire pass. Therefore, you.. basically get the 1k back to spend on weapon skins n such. Pretty neat!

Woah wait, where on earth are these feedback forums!? Totally love the quarterstaff- it’s probably my favorite weapon. Thing is- it’s simply worse than all other blunt weapons in the 2handed category. What would you think about increasing the attack spin rate of the quarterstaff as a buff Dave? Just a thought.

The feedback forms are a section on their official Discord where you can post feedback for the game. I'm not sure how I would buff the Quarterstaff. I think just adding it to Man At Arms would be enough, because then at least you would have a reason to use it. At the moment, the heavy mace is just a much better option on Knight.

actually, PS+ means whoever gets it on PS+ now, will have it permanently. So, after a couple of weeks, we could get a pretty big spike of decent players.

People want to neglect the horseback utilization of the weapon, but that's where it shines. It also doesn't play like a saber at all.

@Soter Dave Very True. On the new bridgetown map, where we must capture the bridge, using the Cavalry Sword's special while on horseback can easily break their formations. As for it being used outside of horseback, it's just a longer Falcion. I've also only looked into Halberds, as it is my weapon of choice, so me calling the Calvary Sword a Saber just comes to mind because of the design and functuon.

So far so good for me. Solid feedback you provided here. A clan system would be awesome among other things noted. One bug I'm experiencing this patch with the Raider class is if you pick up & throw a one handed spear / javelin, it will still think you have the item equipped and are unable to equip a second primary.

The live service model will not make them big. There's too many games. Even if they produced content at twice the speed they do now, it would not help. Unless the core game is improved, people will not be sticking around.

Ok but, i've noticed that when you get hit with a knife, you don't have guarenteed jab after that. Is it new or was it already possible before ? I thought jabs were guaranteed after getting hit

The knife has hitstop, meaning its successful combos are super fast. Faster than a jab, at times.

The game modes mentioning unranked make me hopeful for a ranked. I would personally rather have parties then ranked though so maybe that’s the logic. I am just getting back into the game because of this. Do you think the game is ready for ranked? I haven’t ran into anything game breaking yet

The game modes have had 'unranked' written on them for 2 years now. Nobody wants ranked more than I do, but it doesn't look like it's coming.

What does this nerf to quarterstaff/heavy mace/poleaxe means? You deal less stamina damage now or you receive more stamina damage while blocking than before the update? Description is confusing. 😅 Thanks in advance for the answer, coach. 😉

Stamina drain negation means that the weapon takes less stamina damage when blocking attacks. The stamina drain negation used to be 20% for those weapons, and it is now 10%. This means all these weapons take 10% less stamina damage when blocking.

It's not that it isn't good, it's just not as good as its alternative, the Falchion. However, it's much better on horseback, so that's okay!

@@SoterDave I don't think saying it's not as good as the falchion is the right way to look at it. They're both one-hander swords, yeah, but they do cater to slightly different niches. Better to observe how it's strengths hold up in the bigger picture than just comparing it to the falchion imo. Fair about horseback though, I don't ever touch horseback so I can't give an informed opinion on that.

I love this game, but, sincerely I dont have high hopes on devs. I truly believe that they dont play they game. Horses again?? WHO CARES FOR HORSES??
