A lovely nostalgic walk around the town where I was born and reared. thanks for that.... I've just finished writing a book about growing up in Cavan in the 30s,40s & 50s. They were tough times back then so it's great to see how the old place has thrived and come up in the world...Up Cavan...

Enjoyed your Cavan tour. That cathedral is gorgeous. I shared it with my sister-in-law in Long Island who hails from there and she probably will forward it to her 4 other sisters also. Wishing you an abundance of health in the coming year. All that walking keeps the ticker in great shape.💓👍

Happy New Year to you! Nice video of Cavan Town. You're right - the Shop a look very nice. The large Christmas tree reminded me of the beacon at Baltimore!:-) Did you ask at The Broken Egg what the world's largest breakfast consisted of? Beautiful cathedral . Would love to see that one. Enjoy your week-long -anxious to see your next one! Don and Anne

All Irish primary school, have lost alot of it, but would love to get back in to it

I was able to read Irish in school, but because it was literally beaten into me, I subsequently rebelled against it. I don't think it should be compulsory, even though it is our native language.👍😊

Yes Lord Farnham , the radisson hotel would have been where he lived, the street you are on there is Farnham street which was designed by him, and also the old Farnham Arms Hotel used to be on that street.
