👋Hello again Don! Wow! What a superb video, from start to finish. It really is. That thatched cottage, my gosh how beautiful! I'm a huge fan of the traditional thatched cottages & always have been. As I mentioned to you last time, I so hope that the Irish Govt & local councils, will strongly support protecting & restoring all Irish thatched cottages. IMPO, I think that a new & interested generation of young Irish, ought be fully trained by the remaining senior thatchers, so that these cottages remain for a very long while to come. That beautifully flowing river is just pure magic! This region appears so picturesque & peaceful. Thanks for sharing & here's wishing you another good week ahead. Peace✌

You're right about the thatch cottages. I would hate to see them disappear. As always, thank you for your compliments.👍😊🇮🇪🇦🇺

Another super video in Connemara! Oughtergard used to have beautiful flowers hanging on that bridge. Lovely bridge. Happy you stopped at that park along the river. Ireland’s black river are amazing. We don’t have anything like that in the US that I know of. Did you buy another 10.00 € umbrella? We thought you broke yours!😂 See you next Sunday!

👋Hey there Don, Here I am again, watching this wonderful video for the 4th time!😄 I always enjoy your videos. I enjoy seeing & hearing you speak & seeing what you get up to, specifically seeing all the delicious food & beverages on offer across Ireland. In reference to hotel prices, they're expensive for sure & specifically across Ireland these days. From my long term observations online, there are some more so affordable ones but for the most part, most are over priced. I should also add, that I really like your umbrella. A wonderfully practical umbrella @ an affordable price. I wouldn't mind one of those! It appears wider & much stronger both in it's frame & it's material/quality. I'm so used to watching you now, that I automatically check in weekly. Take care Don & I look forward to your next video.✌👍

@@donstravelsandrants. Ah, I am just kidding. I have watched videos about trails in Moycullen, and they leave out the one around Killagoola, which is the village I grew up in. I enjoyed seeing all the landmarks you passed along the way, because I biked that road to and from UCG and Oughterard all the time. Love your videos

@@donstravelsandrants. We didn't have access to a car, most of the time, buses were scarce. Cycling was convenient, and good exercise. Thanks again, love being part of the adventure and hearing your thoughts
