A dead lift is lifting dead weight. Most people are so used to seeing a deadlift with a hip hinge that they believe a deadlift means to hip hinge and you even hear trainers call out "give me a deadlift" when what they want to see is a hip hinge movement, AKA hip flexion into hip extension. To be correct, this is a deadlift with a squat movement, the weight is dead and then lifted with a squat movement. Our website www.cavemantraining.com has a lot of info about this. We're big on introducing proper naming into the fitness/trainer world. Another great example is the burpee, the clean, etc. they describe an exercise but not with what pattern it should be performed, hence the reason we include those movements with the names, for example, there is a dead clean, hang clean, and swing clean (the list goes on).

Thanks for this detailed response. I understand your logic in the naming and agree. I would prefer names that give the most information about the movement. Either way, as important as naming is.... As long as i can see the video. I can know what to do.

How many 4min Tabatas need to do for KB deadlift? Or just one is considered as a completed deadlift training?

There really is no such thing as deadlift training and the right number of reps, rounds, or tabatas that works for everyone.
