Thank you so much for showing me No. 6 Cavendish Road, the home of my Great Aunt and her sister soon to be my Great Grandmother, on the 1871 census. On the 1881 census she had married my Great grandfather and was living at No3 (now No 5) Grosvenor Mount in Headingley, that house appeared on the BBC programme " A House Through Time". Thanks once again for the video, oh what I'd give to be able to go back in time......

It is, but I think it's a small big city if that makes sense. You can get from one side to the other fairly quickly and also are soon out in the countryside.

Thankyou and Happy New Year! My Grandfather was a Doctor in Leeds not sure where though unfortunately. His practice was at their residence his name was Dr Crowe. I wonder if was in this area of Leeds

On the 1871 Census no. 8 Cavendish Road was a school with ten students

Thanks, the houses have seen much history, so many stories. Part of the reason that I like to find old buildings, is that connection with the past.
