Love this song. Thanks for posting. When I found this cave I realized this game was really special. Felt safe and lonely here. like I knew I couldn’t stay here forever because their was so much more.

Safest place in Qud imo, atleast one of the nicest melodies.

Good game. Really good. This place felt like an oasis of peace in a hostile world.

By the way, am I the only one who sees a lot of Brotherhood of Steel similarities in Barathumites? And Enclave in Putus Templars?
@9volt653 жыл бұрын
deffo a bit of enclave in the templars, but the Barathrumites are far too isolated to be the BoS- and i don't think they steal tech to hoard it, iirc. they're far too isolationist to have any real ideological push. but, the barathrumites and BoS DO BOTH have powerarmor where u can drink ur own piss........hm

@@9volt65 To what depiction of the BoS are we talking about? Because... They're almost exactly like the ones from Fallout 1. Very exclusive, hoard old world technology, are sincerely intelligent and invested in science to develop whatever new things they can, are quite nice if pretty firm to the player, but are ultimately hostile to everyone else, and do not care about the starving, (Or in the case of Qud, dehydrated) impoverished masses who's lives are threatened on a daily basis outside of their bunker. Hell, if anything, the Brotherhood is WORSE! They send you on a mission HOPING you fucking die, and shit their pants when you walk back to them and say "Done." The Barathrumites however openly acknowledge, warn, and tell you about the dangers of Qud! They tell you in game to, I guess this is going to sound weird but remember it's a videogame, eat particular foods that will help bolster your resistance to disease when they send you to Golgotha, which is INFESTED with horrible cutting traps and strange ravenous animals that both will give you horrible diseases. The brotherhood is certainly somewhere between the Barathrumites and the Putus Templar, but that moral grey zone doesn't mean that there aren't historical actions taken that can't be recorded and recognized as immoral (i.e. trying to kill a guy by having him go to a horribly irradiated facility inside of a pit in the case, which is... literally what they do. They tell you to go to a pit and die, without the die bit.)
