His gear is like Aaron Gillespie and Illan Rubin smashed together, and I'd like to give him a hug, because Gretsch is my favorite drum brand in the world, and also Zildjian. Great choice man. (if you ever see this, lol)

The dude litterally copies Aaron Gillespie on gear. If Aaron has truth drums......you know he is too, if he has Gretsch.... so is he 😂😂
@andyham60947 жыл бұрын
Caylon Sharp he even tries to talk like him. He's a sick drummer but I feel you should be ur own person with something like drums and music which is art. You can have idols and influences but copying someone's exact playing style, sound, gear, and everything else, I feel it's not original as good as he is. I know he got a few lessons with Aaron but that's just how I look at other drummers who obviously try to be and sound like another drummer. You can say the same about a million pop punk drummers trying to be like Travis. Look at josh dun from 21 pilots, I hate them and I don't even think josh is good but he so obviously tries to be like Travis barker in how he dresses, his gear, playing style, same poses in photo shoots and pictures, it might just be me who finds that kinda wack, and don't get me wrong, Conor is a sick ass drummer but I feel u should try to be the first you and not try to sound and look and be like someone else if it's super obvious like this. Aaron gillespie is the man tho.

I think your missing the point that part of drumming on stage is putting on a show for the audence, in thus case, most fans find this quite cool and exiting

”K cymbals are not meant for that type of playing” There is no type of playing that they’re ”meant for”.
