The fan would run on high all the time because the broken/frayed wire. The system worked when there was no current on the wire it was fan high and when it had higher current fan speed went down. I believe. It’s been 2 years at lease since I repaired that car.

Fans don’t run at all? What about with the air conditioning on? The module for the fans is built in to the fan it’s 4 wires power ground a signal wire and the. A wire that reports back to ecm. Other issues could be if your coolant sensors are under reporting and it doesn’t know the cars at operating temperature.

Boss I have same problem my cayenne 2012 when I plug fan socket some time fan running . When I start engine fan running high speed and if I off engine so fan not going off still running with off engine.

Check your wiring
