A couple of years ago, I found a pair of NWT Magnolia Pearl Highland plaid pants in the wild. They didn’t have a tag so I asked the manager for a price. And because they look like pants you’d put on a scarecrow, she looked at me like I was crazy and put a $4.50 (50% off) tag on them. Gurl! I thanked her and made a beeline to the register. They sold a couple of days later for $200 🎊🎉🍾

I love your videos. Some resellers find good items but their items don't sell that fast. Like every item takes forever to sell. You bring a lot of new brands to the table not just the familiar ones and they are brands that you can find in the wild. You do a lot with keywords and the amount of knowledge that you share with us is incredible.

Has anyone else selling clothing had a huge increase in returns on ebay? I had a 2% return rate for years but as of last month jumped up to over 4%. All for fit or changed my mind, no INADs since the beginning of this year. I'm considering just nuking a lot of my ebay store (specifically the categories that are driving returns up for me) and only selling those on poshmark and mercari. I like selling jeans but no point in selling those on ebay when most of them get returned nowadays.

Mine tend to go through waves of a lot and then next to none and nothing in between. Right now mine are actually down.

I am experiencing a lot of that and people making up some excuse to file an INAD claim to force a return. I have returns on but buyer pays return shipping so they are trying to get out of that. I think people still want to shop but their bank is lookin a little scarce and they regret spending so much money when they have a car bill due. And then suddenly they no longer need that blouse. IDK just my take on it lol.

I travel at least an hour away to get to a good sourcing location. You don't need to shop bins. You can source from regular thrift stores only.

Cayley, this may sound like a very naive question, but you describe some vests or jackets as puffer, and others as down filled. How do you know the difference? Does it say "down" on the tag?

They can be both! Puffer is the style and down is the material it's filled with. If it's down it should say something on the material tag about down or feathers. You can also have a puffer vest filled with just polyester.
