Where is Carlton bank I'm in Darlington so can't be far from me, what radio is it, can a amature radio be uesd on 11 meter ? Watts turned down wink wink 😉

Hi matey, Carlton bank is between stokesly and swainby; i should imagine you would come in from the a19 end and turn left at the tontine pub ..follow down this road past swainby castle about 3 to 4 miles and turn right as it,s sighn posted, as your just going out of the village theirs a breakoff that takes you to the top it,s on your imediate left and follow that road to the top; you will pass a cattle grid on that road.....the radio we used is a kenwood 480Hx 200 watt and elevation is around 600ft high...Hope this helps
